I dropped my i phone in the pool

Hi i dropped my phone (with no case) in the pool And its completely fine but it keeps saying "this cable is not certifited" and i dont have a cable in my i phone 5 plz help

The store won't fix it. The interior of the iPhone got wet and electronics and a little water or moisture don't mix much less being completely submerged in water. Drying the outside alone and leaving the iPhone powered off was not near enough for any chance at salvaging it. It may work for a while but only a matter of time.
Apple offers and out of warranty or not covered under the warranty repair price, which pays for exchange at a significantly reduced price off the full retail sales price.

I seen your other post re this.
    water and technology don't mix.
Its time for you to go to the apple store and buy an out of warranty iphone.
since you dropped your phone is the pool, the water damaged your phone, just because it didn't happen right away, doesn't mean it won't later as you've now know.

You will have to see if it's eligible for out of warranty serivce
    http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/contact/
    Out-of-Warranty Service
If you own an iPhone that is ineligible for warranty service but is eligible for Out-of-Warranty (OOW) Service, Apple will service your iPhone for the Out-of-Warranty Service fee listed below.
    iPhone model
    Out-of-Warranty Service
    iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS,
    iPhone 3G, Original iPhone
    $199
A $6.95 shipping fee will be added if you arrange service online or by calling Apple Technical Support. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are subject to local tax.
When setting up out-of-warranty service, Apple will request credit card pre-authorisation for the maximum service fee listed above.  This amount will be deducted from your credit limit. The final service fee we charge will be determined during testing and may be less than the service fee listed above.
Certain damage is ineligible for out-of-warranty service, including catastrophic damage, such as the device separating into multiple pieces, and inoperability caused by unauthorized modifications. However, an iPhone that has failed due to contact with liquid may be eligible for out-of-warranty service.

Go to the local Apple store and purchase a refurbished replacement.
If your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad is Broken
Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.
ATTN: Beginning July 2013 Apple Stores are now equipped to do screen repairs/replacements in-house on iPhone 5s. In some cases while you wait. According to Apple this is the beginning of equipping Apple Stores with the resources needed to do most repairs for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches that would not require major replacements. Later in the year the services may be extended as Apple Stores become equipped and staffed with the proper repair expertise. So, if you need a screen repaired or a broken screen replaced or have your stuck Home button fixed, call your local Apple Store to see if they are now doing these in-house.
You may take your device to an Apple retailer for help or you may call Customer Service and arrange to send your device to Apple:
Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 or visit online Help for more information.
To contact product and tech support: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers.

There are third-party firms that do repairs on iDevices, and there are places where you can order parts to DIY if you feel up to the task. Start with Google to search for these.

How long did you let it try in raw rice? How much chorine was in the pool?

IF you had icloud backups and Camera Roll turned on in Settings on the wet phone, then you can restore that backup to an iOS device, but not a computer.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Once you get a replacement phone...
Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  This will erase your device.  Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.
This link gives another overview of backup and restore:

Make an appointment at the genius bar and take your credit card. An out of warranty replacement is $199 for a 4S, $149 for a 4.

  • I dropped my iPhone 5 and the screen is completely black and when i plug it into my computer it constantly beeps.  When I call it it doesn't go straight to voicemail but my phone doesn't ring.  Rebooting it doesn't work.  What is the problem?

My screen has been cracked for a while now and today I dropped it and parts of the screen on top came off and the phone went completely black.  I tried calling it and it rings as usual on the line but my iphone doesn't make any sound.  I just plugged in my phone to my macbook and i am still able to import pictures and send imessages but while it's plugged in my phone constantly beeps..the same beeping as it does when its on the charger but it's just one beep every couple seconds.  People have been telling me it could be the LCD..any thoughts?

    Ask Verizon.
If you don't know whether you have AppleCare+, you can find out warranty information by entering the serial number at http://selfsolve.apple.com. The serial number can be found under Settings > General > About > Serial Number, if you are still able to use the phone. If not, eject the SIM card tray from the right side of the phone using a paper clip or SIM unlock tool. It is in very tiny print on the rim of the tray.
You cannot purchase AppleCare+ if it's been after 30 days or the phone has already been damaged like yours.

  • I've never dropped my phone for the 7 months that I've had it but last night I was at a park and when I sat down at a table, my phone as in my pocket and I heard a pop. I took my phone out and the entire screen was cracked. what should I do?

Probably not, since user-caused damage isn't covered by the warranty. But you can take the iPhone to an Apple Store and see if there's anything they can do for you. A phone company store will not service your iPhone at all, to the best of my knowledge.
    Regards.

  • I dropped my phone into the bath last night and it was working perfectly fine the hole day, I went to put it on charge and now it won't charge or even turn on what do I do

You can try drying it out internally by wrapping the unit in a paper towel and putting it in a bag with a dessicant safe for electronics such as silica gel pellets, or failing that in a bag of dry, uncooked rice, for a few days. It's very probable that it's been permanently damaged, but it's possible that if you dry it out, it may then work. If after a few days in the bag it still has problems, then you'll need to pay to get it exchanged (by Apple) or repaired (by a third-party repair service) or buy a new iPhone.
    Good luck.

Looks like a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is required... Be sure to make an appointment first...
