It means you should take it to the Genius Bar. You will no doubt need to buy an out of warranty replacement.

My iphone 4 was working, then all of a sudden i grabbed it out of my pocket and the screen was black. it wont turn on at all. i put it on charge nothing came up. I pluged it into my computer to go onto itunes and the computer didnt even pick up the phone

Apple only may, because it was jailbroken, exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours. Contact Apple to see.

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to replace the screen for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". Some places also will sell parts and instructions for doing the repair yourself, but the connectors and parts are delicate and it's easy to cause further damage, so attempt this only if you are confident in your skills.

Claire, please post your machine specs as requested. There are some variants of the MBP with specific hardware issues. Example: the older "silver key" MBPs with 2.2Ghz and faster processors can have a defective video chipset that produces a black screen or distorted video. That problem is covered under an Apple program that will fix this at no cost to you if you computer is that model.

Try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

You should contact Apple, either by calling the appropriate phone number on this page or by carrying in the iPod and charger to an Apple retail store. As this is at least potentially a safety issue (because of the sparking) I am certain that they will at least want to hear about it.
Whatever you do, don't use the iPod or charger until Apple has said it is okay.

The mouse moves on its own and the screen freezes and zooms in and out.

About 2 months ago I bought a new macbook pro and over the last couple of days it has produced all these problems!
The screen jolts and freezes and only has gradual movement and zooms in and out on a page and the mouse also freezes and moves on its own. This usually happens when I am on the internet.
Its happened twice now where it works perfectly fine and then all of a sudden it happens.
Has anyone else had this before? Is it a virus?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated!

I dropped my iphone 4 off my balcony. The screen is not cracked at all, but when it happened, the screen had discolored bars on it, and now it doesn't even turn on anymore. Is there any other solution other than buying another?

Try holding down the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. If you are still having problems take it to and Apple store for repair.

If an iphone cracks and the screen is all blue, does that mean I can fix that by getting the screen repaired?

Since the OP's original question was not answered why doesn't the OP call Apple and find out what you should do, i.e., if you bought the iPhone in the US you should still be able to return the iPhone for repair whether that repair was within the warranty provisions.
Once you find out what the cost is to repair, if applicable, you can then make a decision as to whether you should have it repaired or buy a phone which may be less expensive than repair.
