I dropped my phone, internal screen issues

So I dropped my phone, and now when I start it up, the apple icon shows up just fine for about 10 seconds, then slowly fades to black, then the screen is lit up, but black, and nothing will show up. Tried restarting it multiple times, is not resolving. Is there any way to fix this issue? If i replace the screen (the screen is cracked), will it be fixed, or is it internally broken beyond repair? Thank you!

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store. You will most likely be offered an out-of-warranty replacement (about half the cost of a new phone).

I dropped my Curve 8520 earlier today and now the screen is full of white patches and lines (but not the full White Screen of Death). The phone still functions perfectly aside from that, but I can't really see what I'm doing as about half the screen is white. I know for certain this is a consequence of me dropping it but I have some questions:
1.) What exactly has been damaged? The external screen isn't cracked, so am I right in thinking that I need to replace the LCD? Only the display is faulty
2.) There aren't any outside signs of it being dropped. Is there a chance it's covered by BB warranty, or will they be able to tell I dropped it if they open it up?
Any advice and recommendations are welcome! Thanking you in advance

Probably not, since user-caused damage isn't covered by the warranty. But you can take the iPhone to an Apple Store and see if there's anything they can do for you. A phone company store will not service your iPhone at all, to the best of my knowledge.

It is probably broken, but wait and see, it takes several days to dry out. If it does start working that may only be temporary as the iPhone corrodes.

You need to get your phone repaired. It's obviously damaged, and nothing we can suggest to you will fix that.

If you have AppleCare+, for the $49 filing fee, you can use one of your two allowed accidental damage claims. You must turn in an intact iPhone to be eligible (it can, of course be damaged, but all the parts need to be there).
Otherwise, nothing in Apple's warranty covers accidental damage. The accidental damage claim is a special insurance rider only with AppleCare+, allowing two claims, with the associated fee each time.
All you need is the broken phone - they will pull everything else they need off their system from the serial number and your info.
