I purchased the Xperia Z2 tablet in April 2014 with the 2 year Accidental Coverage from Handling. I dropped the tablet and the screen shattered. I attempted to call Sony to setup a repair, and the customer service rep. insists on insulting me and tells me that I don't have the coverage for which I have receipts. I contacted the Sony Store for a solution, but they are giving me the run around.
I would like to speak to a person whose first language is English.
I didn't spend $650.00 for and a tablet and coverage that I cannot use.

If you have AppleCare+ it will cost $79. If not, Replacement iPhone 5S is $269. If your Apple Store replaces iPhone 5S front screens (not sure any Apple Store is doing this yet) it would cost $149, call them and see if they are replacing iPhone 5S screens.

Bring your phone and $199 to the Apple store for an out of warranty exchange of your phone. You clearly broke it when you dropped it.

It's very likely that the phone is permanently damaged - water corrodes the very fine copper strips which form the circuitry very quickly - but only a service engineer can tell you what its condition is and whether it can be restored to health. If possible take it to an Apple Store (make an appointment) for a free assessment. Don't be surprised if you are told you will have to replace it.

Dropped my iPhone in snow and now it will only show the apple logo when plugged in

I dropped my iPhone4s in the snow the other day, consequently it got wet. I could see the condensation in the camea and flash and the screen turned black however the phone still worked as when my friend called me it vibrated but I couldn't answer it because of the screen. The flash also was constantly on so it seemed like everything was working inside the phone but just not the screen.
As soon as I got home I left the phone in rice for 2 days.
I got the phone out and plugged it in to charge. The apple logo showed up and the phone vibrated but en the apple logo disappeared and the screen turned black again. I unplugged the phone and plugged it in again and the same thing happened with the logo again but no vibration.
If I take the phone out of the plug it will just stay as a black screen.
Any suggestions as to what is ring with it or what I could do to fix this?

You've most likely cooked it. Make an appointment at the genius bar. Take the phone and your credit card with you. An out of warranty replacement will cost you $199.

Hold the power key till it shuts down, it may take a little while, try holding it thru the warning.
Then if it shuts down restart and open Safari/Preferences, General tab, and set "Save Downloaded Files to:"
Select desktop, if desktop is not available in the the drop down menu, click other, then select Desktop from the column from the on the left.

Whenever i start my macbook pro the screen remains gray with the apple symbol and the circle timer below. The screen stays this way even if i leave it for hours.

When i turn on my macbook a box appears telling me i need to restart my computer (in different languages) and in order to do so i have to press on the off button for a lil while. Even after doing this the same box appears and it never restarts correctly. This box appears every single time. I rarely turn my computer off. I just place it on sleep mode and restarts it only when i get prompted to. I brought it to genius and they couldnt figure out what the problem is so i was told it needed to be shipped to get fixed. I didnt have anything backed up. All i want saved are the pictures because i went to 2 events where i was the assigned photographer and i didnt get to save it to an external memory. Genius said that when shipped i cant give instructions like make sure to save the pictures and if they are unable to, call me if they should go on with the process. I was wishful thinking that to fix the problem they might not even have to touch the pictures memory part. I brought my MBP back home hoping it will miraculously starts and id be able to back it up but now all it does when i turn it on is the screen remains gray with the apple symbol and the circle timer below. Hello everyone, like most people on this site, I am having difficulties understanding and fixing my Macbook Pro. About a month ago my computer screen went black, the computer was unresponsive, and it started making a beeping noise. I restarted the computer, and it seemed to have fixed itself. 6 days ago, I put my laptop into it's case with some papers, went home (about 30 min. after putting laptop into case), and opened my bag. My computer's fans were on, the computer was really hot, and when I opened the computer, the screen was black and unresponsive. I turned it off, let it cool down, turned it back on, started to stream a video on Hulu, and about ten minutes after, the screen went black again and the computer was unresponsive. Now everytime I turn it on after about ten to fifteen minutes the screen will go black, the computer will become unresponsive, and I have to shut it off. The weird thing though is that everytime I restart my computer, when I reopen my account, my computer acts as if nothing has happened, and everything I had opened or unsaved is still there without autosave saving the documents.The screen also goes black and the computer becomes unresposive when I move the computer around. I get a lot of pop-up ads and other crap on my computer when I am on the internet. I don't know if one of those pop-up websites might have given me a virus or may be the cause of this problem. I don't now what is wrong with my computer or how to fix it, but if anyone has any advice, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!! Thank you very much!!!

To get rid of "pop-up ads and other crap on my computer when I am on the internet", click on Safari in the Menu bar, and select Preferences. Next select Extensions. Delete all of them. Restart Safari.
The first step in addressing the black screen is an SMC reset.
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...

You can use the same Apple ID for both phones, you would then be able to use the purchased Apps/Content on both phones without having to pay again.
