I enabled iTunes Plus accidentally and now I can't disable it

What do I do?

You can turn it off by signing into your iTunes store account and then finding your preferences and turning this off. Then you won't see Plus albums unless you enable this feature again.

Some of us have our enture itunes library backed up on CD/DVD - what a waste of time and effort as now presumably you can't use these discs to restore itunes on a new computer! WHY NOT APPLE?

I have never had problems with apple before - I was thinking of upgrading my whole system from PC to Mac but now I am doubtful - if this is typical of apple software, I will stay with windows!

Hi Try a Reboot press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo I think the problem is you need to update software to 8.1 if you can try and do this over Wifi Cheers Brian

Have you signed out of your iTunes account on the device/computer that you are using and signed back in with the updated password ? That should 'refresh' the account on it, and you should be able to use the account's new password to download updates to its apps

I made some progress. The problem is thatiTunes is looking for a certain LSP (Layered Serviice Provider). Some antivirus software (PCTools in my case, wants another one.
1) Disable andy spyware
2) run command "netsh winsock reset" and reboot.
3) Voila it works.
I don't know all the consequences of this change but somebody is going to need their products' code.
Be careful, I know this works for me, but your mileage may vary.

ITunes Plus internal error - now I can't buy or download it

I tried to buy iTunes Plus a few days ago, and it said that Plus had an internal error and that I should try back later. When I tried it later, it said that I had already bought it, but it won't download any new songs or let me try to resubmit the request. I've emailed Apple support twice and am not getting anywhere. I believe my credit card was charged, but when I check for new downloads, nothing comes up.

Downloaded itunes 10.5 and now I can't delete music off Nano (5th w/ camera).

I just updated my iTunes last night and this morning I was trying to remove music of my iPod -- and It would not let me delete the music off of it. The only option I get is once i plug in the ipod -- It will allow me the option to delete all the music and sync my libary to the ipod, which is not what I want to do. I've asked friends and they are having the same issue.
What do I need to do to fix this issue?

Please describe in detail all you have attempted to do in order to resolve the issue. Have you tried resetting your iPod Nano?

Whilst moving location of iTunes to external hard drive, I lost my iTunes Media folder and now it can't find my media files

Whist moving my iTunes folder to an external hard drive, (I was following this post: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1364) I seem to have accidentally deleted the itunes Media folder - I misread the last action point!
All the files transferred to the external hard drive as I can see them and I am able to copy them into itunes, but only links, and they're still organised.
Can anyone help me restore the folder structure so itunes can see the music?
I added a new cd to itunes so I could see where it is now saving music and it created a new folder where the music now resides (I guess as a deleted the file structure from previous it needed to create a new one). I thought I would be able to copy and paste the old music into this newly created fold but it doesn't seem to have worked.
Any advice on what I should do would be greatly received

I've tried everything: I looked at my audio settings (but I had no idea what I was doing), I tried to repair the file, and I even resorted to deleting it and reinstalling it, BUT NOTHING WILL WORK.

Updated to iTunes 7.6 and now i can't connect to the store

I getting an error message saying it timed out. This happened when i first downloaded iTunes 7.5 on my new Vista running computer a month ago but i fixed it by going into Norton and putting iTunes to allow. I went to go do the same thign because maybe it reset but it is still on allow. Can someone please help me.

I posted this in another thread, but read the bottom paragraph.....Even though Norton says allow for iTunes, my was still blocked as well. It's running fine now though since I've cleared out the programs list and rules tab and started over. Norton sets a no TCP rule I couldn't figure out so I cleared them all out.
I disabled only the personal firewall in Norton Internet Security and it connected straight away. When I found out this worked, I tried just allowing the four apple programs the personal firewall monitors and no joy. I will find which program is being blocked, but disabling the entire personal fire wall will work.
BTW, in my case I was getting the connection timed out but the iTunes diagnostics said the connection was fine but never connected to the store successfully
Some how Norton Internet Security set itself to block outbound TCP connections during the upgrade, even though iTunes was still set to allow all connections in and out. I couldn't figure out which rule to change. To get the firewall running again, I had to use the reset botton (in Norton Internet Security) to clear out all the rules and programs and then manually add iTunes with allow all privileges to the program list. CAUTION: until Norton repopulates privileges for other programs, you may need to add them manually.....this includes Internet Explorer or any other browser you may use.

1. Drag a playlist that was created in iTunes to either of my iPods.
2. Rearrange songs within a play list by just dragging them to where I want them.

Ok, I've been researching this for quite some time today and found a thread in which there was a similar issue and it looks like its related to the use of a Wacom tablet. I plugged in a normal mouse and I can now move songs around freely within my playlists again. Hopefully Apple fixes this annoying little bug soon.

That sounds like the library update may be choking on a content file or files. Tracking down which file or files is causing the grief can be a trial, but the "Check for content files with issues" section from the following document may be of some assistance:
