David. Thank you very much. The problem was not with the canvas but rather the Viewer. But the solution was the same. Somehow, the Viewer window was re-set to Alpha. I changed it back to RGB.... and the picture is back. These issues are often very simple.... but they can drive you bats if you don't know the answer. Very grateful. Tim

This morning, I made a new "customer" and downloaded the "trial version" of CC2014 photoshop. This resulted a working CC2014. I hope Adobe can fix my "real" account which does not work at this time.
Anyone else tried this?

I don't think everyone with a Mac is having basic problems with Photoshop 2014.1.
What exact versions do you have in each case? Is your updated version 2014.1, while the "new customer" version is 2014.0? Choose Help - System Info to see.
Sounds like, given your specific system, you may want to try a full clean and reinstall, or maybe a downgrade to 2014.0 until 2014.1.1 or 2014.2 comes out. I think the older versions are available through the Creative Cloud application.

Multi-cam mode will not cut to other camera any more, Just goes doink when you hit the the button for the other camera

In multi-cam mode it will not change cameras anymore. even if you go to multi-cam window and click directly on the other angle it just goes doink. It was working just fine until I needed to use the audio from the other cam. It also had trouble doing that. I am using fc studio 2.

Bring multiclip to TL. Load into viewer. Go to Sync and select open; at the same time make your angle switching choices for audio and video. Play from TL and switch angles in the viewer.

We'll want to click on it, and choose the Music tab at the top. Let's make sure "Sync Music" is checked:
Afterwards, you'll have the option to sync either the entire music library (for your first iPod), or "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" (for the secondary device). Upon selecting this option, four larger option boxes will appear allowing you to pick and choose what content will be synced. For audiobooks, you may need to do the above in the "Books" section. Try connecting the iPad to the computer that you do not want to WiFi sync with and uncheck the WiFi sync option in iTunes. Then click on Apply. Reboot the iPad and see if that does the trick.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

If you go to Settings > iTunes & AppStore , you can sign out from your account, and sign in with the one you've used to purchase apps.This will not remove any apps you already have on it.
Then you can go to AppStore and download apps you've purchased (either via "Purchased" button in "Updates", or simply search for them and download them.
That way you can have multiple accounts' apps on your iPad. When updating, you will be prompted for the credentials for account you've purchased given App with.

I use PrimoPDF (free download) to create pdf files. To merge two docs/pdfs/etc., print the first to a new pdf using Primo. Close it, then print the second and save it to the same new pdf. Primo gives you the option to 'append' or 'overwrite' the original file. By using 'append', you are just adding it to the back of the existing file. You can do this repeatedly to resort or combine existing pages into a new pdf.
Also, I'm using Adobe Reader X.

No. purchases are forever tied to the apple ID used to buy them. Delete them and buy your own copies.

Officially you don't. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
