Settings > wi-fi then tap on the little blue arrow next to the network you want to change. You have to tap on the blue arrow and not on the name.
Now at the top tap on "forget this network".
After that, the iPhone will think your home network is a new network and will ask you for the password to connect.

Thanks.If you look at the top left of your screen you will either see a 3G (or 4G if you have AT&T) or you will see the wi-fi symbol. If you don't see the wi-fi symbol you are connecting to Gmail through your cellular data plan, not via wi-fi.
To answer your question, it doesn't happen often but when it does the steps I mentioned above will normally resolve it. Hopefully you won't have any further problem with this. -

Before the reset quit Pages like this:
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. -
I'm having trouble with back to my MAC. I had everything working on my home wifi network but now I am at my daughter's house and trying to connect via a verizon hotspot wifi connection. I'm wondering if the Verizon hookup is a problem.
I finally figured it out. Needed to update her Airport firmware and allow guest access, and also changed Sharing preferences to Allow Access for All Users.

I would like to use my iPhone 6's wifi hotspot to provide Internet at home (I do not have home internet) via a Time Capsule which I currently use the TC simply as a home wifi network without Internet to enable things like printing wirelessly and backing up data wirelessly via time machine.
I have a Mac Pro, iPhone 6, iPad, Apple TV and Time Capsule. No home Internet.
Is is possible to have my iPhone 6's wifi hotspot used to provide Internet to my wifi network on time capsule? Has anyone else had success doing this? I'm not a tech head and really know very little about things like this. Thanks. JenYou can have a go using a wireless bridge.. eg the airport express will do this.. you can join it to the iphone wireless running as a hotspot.. and then plugged into the TC wan port.. the TC has to be setup in router mode.. so this is going to give you double NAT errors.. and of course errors for all the time the hotspot is turned off.. but it can work. However you might find it requires you to manually connect up each time.. If you are really going to try and do this you will manage it.. but how fiddly it becomes might put you off after a week.
You will chew up your 5GB very fast using any streaming media even radio. So be very careful to track the usage.
Apple should have built in the TC the ability to plug in a wireless 3G modem.. via the USB but Apple have ceased to do adventurous stuff.
If you give up the TC as main router there are plenty of better products on the market that will handle multiple wan connections.. !! -
I am trying to set up home sharing between my iphone 4s and mac which is running itunes 11. Both are connected to my home wifi network and using the same apple id but on the iphone app it says 'Turn on Home sharing in iTunes on your computer or apple tv using account ***

I did the SMC reset for my iMac intel-based and now it won't turn on. What can I do to fix this?
Well, first things first... is the power cord fully plugged into the back of the iMac (and the wall, for that matter)?
Make sure the wall outlet has power, too... I've scratched my head over stupid issues where I forgot to flip a wall switch.
If the outlet does have power, then try doing a pram zap. Command + option + P + R (hold those at startup).
If the machine is receiving power, you should be able to see some LEDs if you look through the bottom grate of the machine to the left of the RAM door. -
My iphone 5 does not appear to be remembering my home wifi network and connect to it automatically. I have to reconnect manually each time. My other iphone (4s w/iOS6) has no such problems. Any suggestions?
It's not a bug in iOS 6, and it won't be fixed. It's usually caused by your phone having been paired to 2 different networks with the same SSID. So it needs to ask which one you meant. Occasionally be corrupt data in the network settings, which is why Allan suggested Forget This Network.

My iPod was updating to iOS 6 and i shut it off during the update because it was taking too long and now my screen in baby blue i've tried to drain the battery but when i plugged it in to charge the blue screen came back on.I dont know what to do
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
Had 3G, moved to 3GS. Backed up 3G and restored 3GS from backup with no problem on a Dell computer. But now when I want to add songs, I get itunes message of death that the new iphone is synced to another computer and now wants to erase everything. How can I add music without erasing everything on my new iphone?
Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me. Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

To change it, you have delete the existing account. However you can avoid losing any pictures in the process. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. (Camera roll photos are not effected by deleting the account.)
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in. -

Voicemail is left at your carrier's server. That will continue to work unless you report your iPhone as lost or stolen with your carrier.
You may never find it again and you can't if the iPhone remains offline or out of service which means the iPhone is powered off or doesn't have cellular reception. -

I thought I had tried everything and then the answer was so simple (Thanks to a Chris on this forum!).
Went to 'other' in the list of wifi networks and entered the network name (beware of caps), correct security (in my case WEP) and password. Knew immediately it had worked because the 'forget this network' button appeared in the network details, which it hadn't before.

Start iTunes on the computer and connect your iPad to your computer. Select your iPad in iTunes on your computer then select the Music tab in the main window. You can choose to sync all music to your iPad or select only those playlists you want on the iPad. When you click on .sync or Apply the selected music will be copied to your iPad.
You can sun photos this way also. -
