I erased Numbers Application. How do I get it back?

I somehow erroneously deleted my Numbers Program . How do I get it back ?

Restore it from a backup or reload it from the original source. If you got it from the Mac App Store, this may require upgrading the computer to Mavericks.

my contacts and photos were erased while update how do i get them back?

What Kilted said.  If your photos or contacts were synced from another computer, get them there.  Or if they have become unchecked in iTunes, re-check them and then sync.  I had different things synced from two computers, and I think something like this happened to me.  Anyway, now I will sync by wifi so probably won't have this worry any more.

Need help! I erased my safari apt and I would like to know how to get it back.

    On 10.8.5 Mountain Lion ?
You need to start in Recovery & reinstall OS X, unless you have a backup or other Mac to copy Safari from.
Backup first, although your files & applications shouldn't be affected

  • When upgrading to lion I lost some applications, how do I get them back?

I finally updated to Mac OS lion, I started with Mac OS snow leopard, did a clean install and then upgraded. But somehow I lost applications iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band. Was there a step before this I was supposed to do? Also is there a way to get them back?

    Hi...
If you originally downloaded iPhoto, iMovie, and GB from the App Store, you can re download the apps for free using the same Apple ID.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.

  • Accidently deleted track numbers. How do i get them back without manually doing it one by one?

I was going thru my itunes to try and get it all in order.
I highlighted an album, get info, checked a few boxes, and i thought all was looking good.
Then i discovered a heap of songs did not have track numbers.
I eventually worked out that one of those few boxes i checked was the track number box.
So now i am missing quite a lot of track numbers.
Is it possible to to get them back? Or do i need to sit here for days to manually put the track nubers in?
Please give me good news because its about 20G of music missing track numbers :-(
    Thankyou

MusicBrainz often isn't that successful, and then there is the problem of getting iTunes to recognize the external update.
Start with this method to restore your most recent library file that had the correct information.
Under Edit > Preferences > Advanced turn off the option to Keep iTunes media folder organized.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. iTunes should now have the correct track numbers, but the files won't be where iTunes expects to find them.
To fix this new problem use my script FindTracks.
When that is done use iTunes Folder Watch to catch up with any files that have been added or removed since the backup file was created. Any files added at this stage will probably need their track numbers fixing by hand.
You can now reenable the keep organized option.
When you get it all working make a backup!

If I ease my iPhone how do I get info back

If the phone isn't totally destroyed (beyond economical repair) you can get a service replacement from Apple without having to renew your contract or pay the full unsubsidized price.
Pricing details will vary by country, but are listed in the iPhone Service FAQ under Out-Of-Warranty Service section for the USA:

How to Use Pacifist to Replace Deleted OS X Applications
Insert the OS X Installer DVD into the optical drive. Use a simple utility like TinkerTool to toggle invisibility so you can see invisible items. Alternatively, open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and at the prompt enter the following:
    defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles Yes
    Press RETURN.
To turn off the display of invisible files repeat the above command substituting No for Yes.
The install packages are located in the /System/Installation/ folder on the DVD.

  • Itunes erased my library, how do I get it back?

I had my Itunes open when my computer froze and force quit out of it using task manager. When I opened Itunes up again all the music had been erased. I tried restarting my computer to see if I could get the music back and had no luck. I'm wondering how I can solve this issue and recover all my music? Thanks

    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps youshouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

  • Deleted iTunes folder, lost paid for applications, how do I get them back?

    OK,
I accidently deleted my iTunes folder from its location in My Music (Windows Vista) and after doing so when I opened iTunes my entire library had disappeared. Not a problem I thought, as my music is in a different location anyway. So I rebuilt my library. Thats all done, but when I sync'd my iPhone up it obviously wiped the music, and applications! Now I do not seem to be able to get thee applications back. I have a few that were downloaded on the phone but none of the ones paid for! Is there a way to retrieve them???

Just download them again, and iTunes should recognise on your account that you've already paid for them in the past and not charge you.

  • I went to the apple store and they did a reset, I got all my apps back Except Pages and Numbers..how do I get them back..without paying...of course.

I went to the apple store and they did a reset on my iPad...I was able to restore all my apps Except Pages and Numbers...those don't appear on my purchased apps at the App Store...how do I restore them...without paying for them again..of course.

If you go into iTunes and sign in and then try to download them again it will let you redownload them. Just make sure you're signed in with the apple ID you used to buy them in the first place.

i accidentaly erased the application system prefences how do i get it back?

Often when people think they've deleted an application, what's really happened is that they deleted its icon from the Dock. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A to open the Applications folder. If the application is in that folder, drag it to the Dock (not to the Desktop or anywhere else.) The other Dock icons will move out of the way to make a place for it.

I want to erase the new Garage band and convert to my old one. As soon as it downloaded, I Lost all of my songs from the previous Sessions,HOW DO I GET THEM BACK?

    MacBook Pro, iOS 7.0.6
Your signature lists both, Mac and iOS device - are you asking about GarageBand on your Mac or your iPhone/iPad?
If you are asking about the upgrade from GarageBand '11 to GarageBand 10.0 on your Mac, the old GarageBand version should still be installed. The installer will have moved GarageBand '11 to a separate folder "GarageBand 6.0.5" in your Applications folder. Open this folder and click "GarageBand".  Does this version still see your old projects?  If not, type ".band" into the Spotlight searchfield in the upper right corner of your screen. Does that sfind your missing projects?
If you are asking about GarageBand on iPad/iPhone, there it is not possible to restore the previous version after you upgraded. And I do not see, how this upgrade could have deleted your projects. Have they completely vanished, or can you not open them any longer? If your projects have vanished, restore your device from your backup: See:  iCloud: Backup and restore overview
