Using = with to_date function fails to get the results

Hello ALl,
I have table for visits information. my table has two fields survey_id (Number) and visit_date(date).
the visit_date also contain the visit time HH:MI:SS.
when I query the table to find the information for one day and using the following qyery:
select survey_id,visit_date
from my_table
where visit_date=to_date('26/04/2010','DD/MM/YYYY');
The result is no data found
but When I used another query such as
select survey_id,visit_date
from my_table
where visit_date>to_date('25/04/2010','DD/MM/YYYY');
there are some records in date 26/04/2010.
In other words, always when I query the table for one day using
visit_date=to_date(:my_date,'DD/MM/YYYY');
there is no data returned although there is data in the table.
is the problem because the time HH:MI:SS exisits in visit_date field.
any help please.

Oracle stores dates as a numeric (I think 9 digit) format which includes the time.
When you use the = operator with a truncated string, it assumes zeros for the time elements.
So your first query is looking for visits which were at exactly midnight.
So your options are to use the trunc function as suggested or to use the 'between' syntax.

I went to do an Itunes update, got error mssg and I needed to uninstall and reinstall. It's is on an external hard drive so I changed the default drive that and I'm getting this error mssg:"Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify sufficient privileges

I went to do an iTunes upgrade and got an error message that it could not be found? It suggested I uninstall and reinstall my iTunes. After a failed attempt, I realized the location was set to the default hard drive of C:, so I tried again by changing the location to my external hard drive. Now I get an error message that says:
Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
Help! What's the deal?

Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? I can not get to iPhone screen, so no way to get to Settings. That is the problem. When I connect phone to iTunes I get screen asking to insert SIN card. On the phone I'm getting Cinfigure screen asking Launguage , Country or Region, Wi-Fi, ( I can connect to my home wi-fi), and last screen "Activating your iPhone". According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you deleted columns in SharePoint 2010.
Please add the following string in <system.web> section of your web.config file :
<pages validateRequest="false" enableEventValidation="false" viewStateEncryptionMode ="Never" />
Note: before changing web.config, please make a backup for the file.

The thing is that I transferred the databases from a Prod.Env. to the Test Env. and from that moment on the Test Env. stopped working (only workflows), then I
was thinking that maybe the workflow is not working in the Test Environment because when I transferred the databases from Prod Env to Test Env I didn’t transfer the databases related to workflow, I only transferred:
WSS_Content
PWA_ServiceDB
But I didn’t transfer:
SBGatewayDatabase
SBManagementDB
SBMessageContainer01
WFInstanceManagementDB
WFManagementDB
WFResourceManagementDB
I didn’t transfer them because, before, when I transferred DB’s in version 2010, these DB’s were not needed, as the workflows were done using another method.
So, I tried to create a new workflow in the Test Env. but there is no way, I always get that error.
I've tried to Register again the workflow, and the result looks ok, but it doesn't solve the problem:
Register-SPWorkflowService
–SPSite "http://whatever/PWA"
–WorkflowHostUri "http://TestServer:12291"
–AllowOAuthHttp -Force
Do you know how to solve this issue or have an idea to give me some light?

Looks like you haven't defined the WF scope or the site where you are trying to deploy the workflow to isn't included in the scope
