I feel like i am going to cry after my 3 hour update generated an 9006 error message. apple support tried to restore my ipod and when they made an error they just returned the thing to me and said sorry. sorry is not enough for breaking it. it's dead.

My home button was broken and ive been using just the accessibility home button for a couple of months now. i agreed to have it restored for 500php. I am having the exact same problem. My ipod has been stuck in disk mode for over two hours and now itunes is frozen.

I like the mail feature with one exception; I cannot figure out how to change the font size of incoming mail permanently. And, when answering an email I have to highlight the first few words and zoom it so I can see what I am writing. what am I missing?

You can type the email using what you set in preferences and then highlight the text and use command - minus sign (or command - + for larger) to reduce the size of the text.
You can also type command - T and a window will appear allowing you to select fonts/sizes/color/ background highlight.
The above works in Notes also. I haven't tried to do this in any other Apple application.
For incoming emails, you can use the above to reduce font size, but I don't know of a way to permanently set the incoming font size to a default.

Once my computer gets past the initial setup download it asks which user wants to run the app and when i click on it it just stops the whole thing .

i am trying to download firefox onto my computer and it goes through the whole run setup download thing and when it gets to where it should start the download wizard it pops up a window that says you may not have access to use all the programs on this computer , either stay as it is or use a different user and when i click on either one it just stops the whole thing . like i never did anything at all .

I pluged it into my computer where itunes is and itunes said I had to reset it, so I did and now I'm trying to restore it from a back up in itunes. Which I didn't know exsisted and didn't set up but it's locked with a password and I have no idea what the password is. Is there a way for me to find out?

- If the backup has a password (called encrypted backup) then you either have to remember password or correctly guess the passcode or set up the iPod as new.

Try putting your iPhone in to recovery-mode and restore it to see if it comes back on. With your iPhone powered off, plug it into your computer and hold the Home Button, you will then see a Connect to iTunes icon and you will have the option to restore. It will erase all the data on your iPhone, but if you have a back up you can restore from it.

It's not a matter of changing the country. The issue is your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

You can change the country by clicking the round flag icon bottom right side of the App Store window.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).
