I find it difficult to download OS X mavericks..it is getting stuck in between
downloading OS X MAVERICKS is becomin frustrating...it is stopping in betweeen
My internet is pretty fast, and Mavericks keep stuck at 3.21 exactly, i reinstalled it again and again, even i tried in safe mode, and I have also tried to reset the app store app from the debug option and still the same keep stuck, and sometimes it give me "an error ocurred", so folks whats going on ???, I have an iMac 21" 2013 Mountain Lion 16Gb Ram 256 Harddisk.
Please any suggestion, I tried many things online without success, don't tell me to contact apple, they don't do anything useful on phone just wasting my time and my credit!!!!
Hurry up guys and find a solution....
Note: I have already installed Mavericks on my personal Mac(15" retina) and my wife's Mac(13", 2013) withoud any problem,

Why don't my downloads on Firefox complete? They get stuck at 98%.
I used to use Firefox 13.0 on my MacBook Pro 13'' 2010 model. Everything used to work fine. Now, I have a Sager laptop with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 installed and firefox does not complete downloads on Windows 7. It works fine till it reaches about 98%, and then gets stuck. If I pause and continue the installation, the file gets corrupt. If I restart the download, the same deal happens. Till now, I have had to download using the Ubuntu partition and transfer to my windows 7 partition. This is getting annoying. I would very much appreciate a solution.
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files.<br />
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

What is the error message that you're being given? And are you updating directly from the iPad, or through iTunes on the computer and if the latter what operating system and version of iTunes is the computer running?

Well, if your MacBook Pro is new, it already has Mavericks installed and there is nothing to update.
Go to the Menu Bar, and click the Apple logo. Then click "About This Mac." Does it show OS X 10.9 or 10.9.1?
If so you are already running Mavericks. -
Can't download and install Mavericks
I am trying to download and install Mavericks and am getting nowhere.
When I go to the App Store it is marked as "Free Upgrade".
So I click the button and, after logging in, it changes to Install.
I click that and it changes colour and is disabled for a few moments and then changes back to "Install".
If I exit the store and re-enter the button is back to "Free Upgrade".
My computer definitely meets the requirements so what am I missing?

It does not let me download Adobe Flash Player. It gets stuck on the 50% an dI do everything that it instructs me to do and still it gets stuck on the 50% . Pleae hepl me uggh.... Its a home computer Mac Mini 2.5 ????

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)

I am finding the ability to download previous purchases now shown on my iCloud account to be difficult. Music appears fine and most movies are OK but I have problems with all music videos included with album purchases. Any ideas?

Trying to find a way to download adobe flash videos
our company hired a marketing consultant to lead us through some coaching sessions and she recorded the webinars as screencasts and posted the videos to a special webpage for us, but unfortunately the videos are in adobe flash format. That means I've yet to find a way to download them to my laptop to be able to save for reference. I’m concerned that some day the page she created for us will go away and we’ll lose this content.
Is there some way to download these videos? They are all on the same page and obviously not set to auto play. I appreciate any advice, thanks.thanks guys.
Barney, I already tried googling and struck out, but your suggestion about using the activity window in Safari worked like a champ! I got everything downloaded (over a gig worth of files) and they play fine on Quicktime or Movist so I'm good.
Malcolm, I appreciate that suggestion and would’ve gone that route had this other approach not worked. But I was hesitant because the last thing I need is more login items, and second, I've had bad experiences with RealPlayer in the past (primarily years back when I was on Windows) with it really being an unstable app that like to work its tentacles into your system and made cleanly deleting it very difficult. So ever since I'm somewhat biased against that app and company.

I am finding it difficult to transfer a set of apps to my imac from my mac book pro, when i go into my imac i see them on the "list" but I dont see any way to download or sync those selected new apps I just purchase. I do see the apps that i have purchased on my imac on the same list. I had no problem syncing them to my iphone..Help ?

Launch the App Store on the iMac and sign in using the same Apple ID and password used for downloading the apps on the MBPro.
Then click Purchases from the menu top of the App Store window.
By the way. Apps that run on an iPhone (iOS based device) cannot run on a Mac = Mac OS X. Two different operating systems.
