I find that since I upgraded to the latest IOS, I can't send a group message, even to a group of all iphone users. Is there a special setting I need to make or something? Thanks.

If my iPad is too old to upgrade to the latest iOS, how can I use old apps?
I think I have upgrading the system software on my original iPad as much as I can, but some of my apps are now grayed out. I can no longer get to iBooks, Kindle books, or Nook books that I have purchased and saved.
What can I do to get to the older versions of those apps?

For iBooks it's not just software but hardware as well > iBooks is not compatible with a first generation iPad > iBooks: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about iBooks and the iBooks Store
Kindle requires iOS 6.0 or later > Kindle
Same with Nook books.
There are alternatives, but make sure they are iOS 5.1.1 compatible > iBooks Alternatives for iPad - AlternativeTo.net
Unfortunately, the atlernatives are not iCloud compatible. -
After upgrading to the new iOS7, I can't send out sms, I can receive sms, can make and receive call. I have already contacted my network provider, we changed sim card, I have tried to put my sim on other phone, and it's perfectly working. Help me pls.
To be honest not being able to send or recieve messages and data is a carrier issue, not a phone issue since u said that your calls are working, if i were you my first course of action would be to get a new sim card from virgin mobile, or to restore the device as new one more time, if you restore the device as new AND get a new sim card from your carrier and those features still dont work, i would take the device to an apple store

Since I upgraded to the new iOS 7 operating system for my iphone, I can no longer adjust the volume on my alarm. No matter what setting the volume of my phone is my alarm is always full blast. Since I hate being startled awake, what can I do?
Go to your home screen, and then press the volume down or up button. It should say Ringer instead of volume. If it doesn't do that, try going into the clock app and try it there.

In my iPhone 4s, since I updated to the latest iOS 6.1.2 I have noticed that my battery drains very quickly, and that after 15 days after date, I lost the cell signal, I have 3g, but I can not call or receive calls or sms. HELP!

I think I figured out Firefox, I went under Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox.
I only have one account on my computer. Honestly I don't even really know how multiple accounts work. I've never played around with it. I already allowed Java - should I disable it? -

Where has the airport icon gone with the new IOS

After upgrading to the latest IOS version 7.1, in mail on ipad, if I select more than 5 mail items to delete the mail software package crashes and I have to relaunch mail? Anyone else noticed this?
I haven't encountered this problem on my iPad Air but this is what I usually do when Mail misbehaves.
Quit the Mail app like I describe then reset the iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. -

My Iphone 4S got broken and need to use old Iphone 3G.
I want to update IOS 4.2.1 on Iphone 3G to IOS 5 by using Itune. Itune said that IOS 4.2.1 is the latest. How can I update IOS 5 or later on Iphone3g?The iPhone 3G can not run anything higher than 4.2.1. It's obsolete.

I've tried a lot of the stuff mentioned at that link and elsewhere, modifying host files etc. trying to downgrade my iPhone 4 back to 5.1.1 no luck , apple has locked up 5.1.1 for my phone and iPad . one post said I'm "stuck with iOS 6" darn I should have been more careful. I have the 5.1.1 Ispw on my MacBook its a permissions thing I don't understand. I'll post when I find a way around it and I will . iOS 6 took away most of my AirPlay functionality . to hek with iPhone 5 I'm starting to look at android. big bummer apple
