I find very difficult using firefox. i can not see vedio, tool bar missing

i was using plane internet system. very easily i could see video, in face book and cooking sites. By mistake yesterday I clicked on firefox, the system changed. recipe tool bar is missing and i am asked for download adobe or what player to see videos. i dont want this I want my plane sistem back. pl help

I uninstalled & re-installed current Firefox version and the folder fonts are now legible. Thanks.

Usual it happens after the windows is working for an our or more (not from the start). No matter if I try to activate it from the shortcut from the desktop or from program files list from HD. I know that it is opened in background because, when I shutdown the computer it asked me shall I keep the tabs etc....
If I tried to open it several times it opens every time but I just can not see it (not even in the Taskbar).

If it's an extension, it probably still works just fine with Firefox 5.0. However, because of Firefox' poor compatibility design, until Trend Micro releases a new version, you need to install Mozilla's Add-On Compatibility Reporter extension from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/15003 and restart Firefox twice.
Each extension specifies the maximum compatible version, which is probably 4.0 in your case as Firefox did not give devs any time to verify and re-release their extensions for version 5.0.
The Add-On Compatibility Reporter extension basically tells Firefox to ignore the maximum compatible version so the extension can still work on version 5.0, just like it did on 4.0.

When using firefox beta can not enter text into reply areas on forums.

When visiting vbulletin type sites, the firefox beta will not enter text into the message reply text box. Seems to be only a problem on honeycomb os.

After partition using fdisk, i can not see the new device file (/dev/sdd1)

I used fdisk -l to partition /dev/sdd, use the entire disk as partition 1. it looks successful:

the problem: i don't see the device file /dev/sdd1. tried to delete it and partition again, the same.
also tried
- mknod b 8 70 /dev/sdd1, to manually create it, but when i use oracleasm createdisk DISK2 /dev/sdd1, the command won't recognize manually crated /dev/sdd1.
- reboot the server,
- "partprobe" command, no luck.
in addition, cat /proc/partitions seems including /dev/sdd1:

After you create a new partition, always verify it:
# fdisk -l /path/to/diskOnce that confirms the new partition, you must tell the kernel to re-read the partition table. Several ways to do this, depending on what your storage connection is. This often works:
# partprobe /path/to/mydiskThen check if the kernel sees the partition:
# grep /proc/partitions mydiskIf it does, you are done.

It's hard to understand your question... Are you talking about Safari, and the "bar" in a Safari window where the search (Google) field is located? That's called the Toolbar.
If that's the question, you may have hidden the Toolbar. In Safari, go up to the Menu Bar. Under View, select Show Toolbar.

It is very frustrating because I can not see (for example on Ebay where to click "buy it now" or "continue" unless it seems I sometime get lucky and click where it says "image" but there isn't one. It looks like a set of shark teeth actually right beside the word "image" very jaggedy teeth, I guess?? So I have been using Safari. There is no problem with ANY of those website images. I go on the same basic sites so that is how I know that. I have only downloaded music I think 3x. I do not download much at all. Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

I take it you tried using the "right click" menu? That doesn't seem to work, as you noted, but, you should be able to paste text by pressing your CTRL key and while holding it down, press the "V" letter key.
CTRL + C = COPY
CTRL + X = CUT
CTRL + V = PASTE

I have a mac 10.6 system when using firefox, I can no longer open attachments or downloads. I deleted firefox and reinstalled and it still doesn't work.

When using firefox, I can no longer open attachments, pdf or downloads. A new window will open and it is blank. The only way to open an attachment or pdf is to shut down firefox and use safari. Everything works with safari so I can't understand what went wrong with firefox. I even download adobe reader thinking that would help. I then deleted my original firefox and re downloaded firefox again. It still doesn't work.
I am using a 10.6 operating system on my Mac.

Try to disable the Adobe Reader plugin in Firefox (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins) and use the external Adobe Reader application or Preview application instead.

I have let it load until NFCU asks me if I want to cancel the session, a much to long of a load time. Has anyone else reported having this issue with NFCU or Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18?
