creative cloud does not use a serial number.
you download the cc desktop app (Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud for desktop) and then install your software using the same adobe id used to pay for your subscription.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me and many others. Tech support returned most of my money but not all of it. Figure that one out! It is clear no music is downloaded (or in queue), it is clear an unknown error message is produced, and it is clear we, the consumer, are still being charged anyway. Will Apple require a credit card from its customers and alienate those that do not wish to use a credit card? Will Apple insult its customers and make silly suggestions such as 'Use an iTunes gift card' in much the same way a forum moderator has already recommended?
I have an idea: Acknowledge the problem publicly (via email, for example) and fix it in a future update. Customers will be more understanding if they know there is a temporary problem and Apple is working hard to fix it. Oh, and return our money, please!

Both Photoshop and Lightroom exhibit the same error. Sometimes this happens 3 times in one day or perhaps every third day. When I open either package I get a message saying that I have 00 days left in the trial and to continue I need to purchase a licence or start a trail. If I click on purchase a Licence the once I log in with Adobe ID I can get started. I have contacted Adobe chat support 6 times. They suggest deleting an opm.db file and assure me that this will sort the problem and within 24 hours back to square one
Here it happens only with photoshop cc 2014. i just deleped opm.db i will check again tomorrow.

Your question is confusing. Are you trying to open your 30 day trial on the school computer or are you trying to bring the school's version on your computer? What is the end goal? Is it to retrieve your files from creative cloud?
I personally would use Dropbox if that is the goal. -
I have creative cloud, I have photoshop and lightroom current versions installed - I was using the trial period. I paid for the 9.99 a month and now I'm trying to figure out how to update this.
You need to uninstall the trial applications and reinstall from the CC app.

I have just downloaded free trial versions of photoshop, lightroom and illustrator. Photoshop and lightroom working perfectly, illustrator saying the licence has expired and I my now purchase it. Help.

Mountain Lion downloaded from App store on 11th and 12th June will not install. Downloaded TWICE it times out after 20 secs into install. Can't get any help!!! Going around in circles!!

Maybe Apple should have a ' definitely read me first' notice before a download takes place with CLEAR instructions to have more than the 6GB they indicate ofr the Mountain Lion download -

I checked my account and in my account it says I only have a free membership from ACC and the monthly plan doesn't show up. I did receive emails from my purchase though, showing that I have payed for the plan (€10,88 a month) . I am sorry for the delay but in order to make Creative Cloud available in many countries we work with a separate provider. This can result in a delay of the processing of orders. -
About a week ago, I purchased a subscription to Adobe CC Photoshop and Lightroom. I can access Photoshop but this screen still comes up asking me for the license number or if I want to continue the trial. The same thing happens with Lightroom, only it makes me sign in and takes me to the tutorials. I cannot access the actual program. Help!!!

I just paid the $9,99 a month to have access to Photoshop and lightroom. I am having trouble installing the programs and when I installed on Photoshop it said "trial"- this isn't suppose to be a trial but a resource I pay for monthly for a year right?
What turns the trial into the live software is signing in. If you sign in with the Adobe ID that has the subscription, the trial becomes live. First check your account on Adobe.com to make sure that the subscription is live.
