I don't know what instructions you may have followed, but as long as you "signed out" , then you will be fine.

i had my iphone 5c in my lifeproof case in the water and when i took my phone out there was a few drops on it but i didnt worry about it, but now it wont charge at all except to 4% and then it stops and ive had it in rice for 8 days........WHAT DO I DO
It sounds like the LifeProof case may have leaked. Did you pay for the Waterproof protection? If so, you can file a claim with lifeproof, pay the deductable, and get a replacement.
If you didn't purchase the Waterproof guarantee, if you have Applecare Plus, $79.00 will get you a replacement. If you don't have AppleCare Plus, then this is a $269.00 replacement lesson. -

Sounds like your iPhone was previously hacked/modified/jailbroken and the
update relocked it to the original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that
wireless carrier can unlock it.
Where did you get this iPhone?
What wireless carrier are you attempting to use it with?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?

I have the original hard drive in a cage (i.e., I can not boot to it or load applications from it). I can access any file on the old drive from the new computer. I have also saved the bookmark file as an html file. I was given a solution to import from the html file that does not work.
How can I get my old bookmarks moved to my nes hard drive?I plugged my old drive into an identical Vostro and saved my bookmarks per the instructions. Later, when I check the file, it was in html format. While waiting for the replacement laptop to arrive, I put my old (Vostro) hard drive into a case so I could access the files. I have been able to launch web pages from the file bt accessing them through My Documents so I know the file is good. The problem is, I apparently need to convert them into a JSON file in order to use them. There is a set of instructions on the Mozilla/Firefox website but that method does not work.

i have tried this 6+ times to "How to share music between different accounts on a single computer" on my wifes mac and can not get it to work!! On my PC no problem but on the MAC it will not work, follow the instructions to the T but no go????
It is almost as if the program does not exist on my computer. If I search for it, the only thing that comes up is the installer. I cannot find it anywhere despite the fact I have installed it numerous times, uninstalled it and conducted a fresh install, and the Adobe website checks says that it is installed.

Following the instructions on the Apple website on how to transfer music to a new computer using your iPod, it basically says that you have to hook up your iPod to your old computer. Seeing as my old computer (a PC running Vista) died a horrible death and no longer works - including the hard drive being corrupted, I cannot do this. Is there a way to sync my iPod Nanop 3rd generation to my brand new iMac without losing all my music?

Upgraded AVG Free this morning. Next Firefox opening got the message "bookmarks and history system will not be functional" etc.
Followed the instructions in the article but no recovery occurred. Then spent 45 minutes on the phone with AVG, ending with them suggesting I re-install Firefox which I did (probably not wise). Still can't get back to where I was yesterday when I was a happy camper. How can I do that?No, AVG did not remove places.sqlite from the profile. In following the instructions given by Firefox I renamed that file by adding .old. The instructions then told me to re-open Firefox, and that when it reopened "it would create a new places database. Your browsing history will be lost but Firefox will automatically import your bookmarks from the most recent backup file." This DID NOT happen. I have not yet tried the steps in the "Lost Bookmarks" article.
Yes, the folder "bookmarkbackups" is still in the profile folder, and time-wise it predates me renaming the places file.

What is the length of time that an email will be held in the email trash after being deleted? Also how do I change this default? I follow the instructions in the manual until it says to click on something called "advanced." There is nothing like that on the screen so I am stuck.
Go to Settings > Mail
Then tap on your account.
SCROLL DOWN TO ADVANCED and tap advanced.
Then look at Deleted Messages > Remove
Tap on Remove and select the amount of time you want. -

Did you follow all of the instructions i.e. since resetting your password have you also logged out of your account on your device by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then logged back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it ?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Storeand turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

I need help deleting videos, tv shows, and movies downloaded from itunes. I have followed the instructions to delete from the macbook, I selected the videos I wanted to delete and right clicked to delete. Nothing happens. When I double click on the video it still starts playing. I also followed the instructions to delete the videos from the iphone by swiping from left to right with nothing happening. I opened the videos on the ipad and there is no edit selection like in the instructions on the support page. was told I could add a link to the ibook that would send the customer to my web site where they could print it?
I was told a customer could not print an ibook that they purchased?
Trying to figure out a way for them to purchase a book that they need to fill in information.

Not as such. You would have to put a pdf version on your web site for download, which the reader would then have to print for himself. A pdf version might look rather different than the epub or .ibooks version, you would have to try that yourself to see how much.
