i used this apple id in my IPAD 4,But some how i forgot the apple id password that was stored in my iPad. i reset the same in my another device. I put the new password in my I pad. ever since i forgot my apple id password and changed to a new one, I am continually being asked to enter my iCloud password. It then says that this mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with "my username". nothing I do in in preferences helps.
You have to sign out completely in System Preference>iCloud (click 'Sign out') on a Mac, or Settings>iCloud on an iOS device (click 'Delete account' - this will not delete the account from the server). Then sign in with the new password.
Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac or device when you sign out but will reappear when you sign back in. -

If you can't remember your account id then do you have any of its downloads on your computer's iTunes : Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name ? There is nothing you can do about but ask the seller for your money back. Without the previous owners applid password, you cannot activate and use that device - there is no way around that. iOS 7's Activation Lock needs to be disabled by the previous owner in order for you to use it - if they cannot (or willnot) produce the password to disable it, you have no options.
They can disable it remotely for you - see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5661 but not if they do not remember their own password. -

You cannot get around Activation Lock without the oringinal owner disassociating the iPad from their account.
