I forgot my ipad on charge after 100%,is this bad for ipad battery?
Once the battery was fully charged, the smart circuitry stops charging the battery. Power is then used just for running the device, and the charging circuits will not cut back in until the battery has spontaneously drifted down by 5%-10% of a full charge (which should take days with a normal, healthy battery).
You cannot over charge any Apple device.

Is charging in dock every night bad for the battery?
I am getting an iPhone 4 in a few days and was planning on getting an iHome dock to use as an alarm clock for college and work and things. If i plug it into the dock every night to use as alarm clock will it lessen the battery life?
No. When in a dock it is running on the charger and does not use the battery. See:

HT4060 ipad 4 - Should i keep charging after 100% ?
Should i keep my ipad 4 plug in even after 100%, just the way i do for laptop? As i charge my ipad twice daily from 40%, as my heavy usage is mainly on games that i play through wifi daily. and some streaming on it through my desktop pc.
right now i dont charge after 100% at all, but would it be alright and not damage my battery life!
And how long will my ipad 4 battery life will last and how to confirm how many cycle is left?It will not damage the battery. The battery does not charge further at 100%

Is it bad for the battery if i leave my nano 5th on the charger all the time?
Is it bad for the battery if i leave my nano 5th on the charger all the time?
No, it's actually what you're supposed to do. To prolong the battery life, try to keep its level high or full as much as you can.
I don't know for sure, but I think the iPod does not draw current from the charging battery but from the charger itself. -
My Macbook was peed on by a cat. Fried it like an egg. My Iphone (4s) has all of my music on it- none of it purchased, just what i have collected over the years from friends and cd's. Every third party app i have tried, only grants 50-100 transfers before it wants to charge you for the application. PLEASE HELP ME:(
Also, i purchased an audiobook on my new Itunes and i can't get it into my phone. I use the same Itunes account and still it won't let me do any of this!!!
*** APPLE??? your stock is plummeting, fix your issues you giant pieces of apple core.
Someone please help me?
Jay AnthonyOk the Mac fried. That does not mean that the hard drive is trash. Take the HD out and put it into an external HD case. See if you can boot from the ext HD.
As for the audio book - is your iPhone logged into the account?
To transfer from the iPhone to another Mac - use Phoneview from ecamm.com - $25 dollars - to get full use of some programs you will have to pay the fee. Such is life.
Your comment *** APPLE??? your stock is plummeting, fix your issues you giant pieces of apple core. - Has nothing to do with the Cat or your lack of a backup.

My iPod won't turn on or charge after being dead and smashed for over a year!
I Dropped my iPod 5th gen over a year or two ago, it smashed. I left it in my drawer for a while and it died, when I go to charge it nothing happens, there is no sign of it turning on or even charging, what do I do now?
Connect the iPod for at least 15min to the adapter, then try to connect in recovery mode, explained in this article:
If you can't update or restore your iOS device
If this does not work, you'll have to get it replaced by paying the Out-Of-Warranty-Service fee:
iPod touch 16 GB (5th gen. Mid 2013) $99
iPod touch 16 GB (5th gen.) $99
iPod touch 32 GB (5th gen.) $149
iPod touch 64 GB (5th gen.) $149

Is it bad for my battery if I take it off the charger before it's fully charged?
Can I do this?
You can charge it as much or as little as you like, as often or as rarely as you like.
Apple simply recommends allowing it to discharge once permonteh followed by a complete charge. -
Is continuous charging bad for the battery?
Will it harm or decrease the battery life of my iPod if I leave it on charge continuously? I normally have my iPod connected to my home stereo via a dock. It is convenient to leave the iPod in the dock, which means that it always has power supplied. I think it stops charging when it is fully charged, but will leaving it connected in any way damage the battery? Thank you.

I guess what i need to know is will this "third party" cheaper branded charging case cause negative effects to my phone in the long run?
iOS 7 will have detected that you are using an unlicenced charger (and cable ? ) and warning you that it may not be to Apple specs
Who knows what or if it will do
Seems a bit shortsighted to risk a very expensive device for a cheap knockoff charger -

My iTunes is so Messed Up after just having this MBP for 3 weeks
I think ITunes needs to work on getting their tracts better and not blame it not being up to par on the users. Does anybody know if Tune up will help me be able to merge a 2 Disk I Disc Cd into one ? It did not transfer as one because the tracks and CD set were all out of wack. I went through and did it on my own but I do not want to spend that kind of time again.
Is Tune Up something that I can use year after year or do I have to re buy next year? Any feelings on this program and how it works would be appreciated.
Is the Premium Gold I think it is called the best one to get? If there is anybody who has used it for a long time, I would appreciate some feedback and help if possible.
thanksHI,

Phone won't charge after running dead
My blackberry torch seems to be a bit faulty in some way at the min , I've recently purchased several batteries for the phone, all of which working perfectly when I leave the shop, when home I charge them up to full and use it as normal no problems. I continue to use the phone until it completely runs out of charge but when it comes to charging it again it shows a battery with a Red Cross through it and after reading other comments of just leaving it to charge I did that but nothing happened so went back to the shop they tested the battery only to find it completely unuseable and me having to buy a new one. Now this has happened to me a few times and I don't want to purchase any more until the problem is solved so is there anybody that couldn't help me solve my problem please ?
The likely problem is that "on device" battery is deeply drained.
Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the charging cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage). If it doesn't reboot on the first attempt, leave it several more hours. I've had one charge for two days before it came back to life after an extreme battery depletion. Every 3-4 hours, with the device still connected to the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it reboots.

When is the best time to charge an iPod for optimal battery?
What do you think?
I hear if you let it go all the way down and then recharge it meaning full discharge then recharge, it's bad for the battery overall.
Also I hear it's bad to charge it constantly as it would make the battery weaker as well?
So when is the best time to charge it so that the battery stays at optimal performance for a good amount of time? Like 50%, 60% battery?
Let me hear your opinions. It really doesn't matter that much when you charge a lithium ion battery. The only significant caveat is, as you've mentioned, don't drain them completely. Other than that, charge it when you need to. I generally put my on charge at night and take it off in the morning. I do the same thing with my cell phones which have the same type of battery. The iPod will stop charging when the battery is full.
Best of luck.

How to reduce other size in iPhone memory?
