You'll have to wipe it out and restore from backup to recover, that'll reset the code but you'll lose any data since your last sync.

You can turn Find My iPad 'off' by going to http://icloud.com and logging into your account, select the iPad from the device list in the 'Find My iPhone' section on that site, and 'remove from account'

N900 lock code attempts?

I was just wondering, if you enter an incorrect lock code on the N900 it just states that the code is incorrect. Is there a maximum number of times that you can enter the lock code before the phone does something like wipe itself?

There is no other go but to get the code reset at Nokia Care. You need to carry a proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice)

You have to bring it to a Nokia Care Center for unlocking. It cant be done at home as you need special hardware for this. Bring your proof of purchase.

hi mate, you will need to contact your nearest Nokia Care location with proof of ownership for them to reset the code for you. due to the age of your handset, I doubt that they would even be able to carry this out for you as they probably don't have the necessary equipment anymore.

the ONLY way to reset the lock code if you forgot it is to flash your device with flasher3.5. you will have to flash both the os and the EMMC.
you can follow my directions HERE
since you wanted to reset your device and start over, this will make your device just as if you took it out of the box for the first time.

I Lost my phone at the office building with more than 10different company and thousands of employees. since no one returned the phone and the device was already turned off i tried logging in and use find my iphone to send a message. But after days since no one is returning it i tried putting passcode on lock mode... And who would have thought that after a week someone will call me and told me that she will return the phone. I dont want to restore it since my photos and videos are not sync to my itunes. if only theres a way that it would only just require my apple id and not the 4 digit code
