I forgot my password and am trying to reset my ipod, but it won't work.It says that my ipod is in recovery mode and that I must restore it. I click ok, and then click on restore and update. Then it says connecting ipod software update server and a screen pops up with ipod software update on the top and iOS 5.1. It lists a bunch of stuff this update contains and on the bottom it says next, which I click and nothing happens, it just goes back to the ipod restore page. Help, what am I doing wrong?

Update to the latest version of iTunes. Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) users may need to download iTunes 10.6.3.
Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart.
Avoid using an older or modified .ipsw file. Try moving the current .ipsw file (see Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations), or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.

My iPhone 4S had the iOS 6 update and I have been trying to download all day but it won't work and now when I go to software update of says iOS 5.1.1 is up to date. And I cant restore my iPhone becuase when I go onto iTunes it says that it can't find my iPhone. Trying to install hp printer, but it won't work on anything over 10.6. Help??
Got a free printer with the back to school deals, and trying to set up the wireless for it, but it wont download. i put the disc in the the super drive, but its saying that it cannot run with anything over 10.6. How can i get this installed??
Even though it is wireless, plug in the USB cable and go to the Apple Menu and select software update. The drivers should download on their own.
Otherwise go to www.hp.com and download the drivers from there. The ones on CD are VERY old.

Trying to create a calculation but it won't work...

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 8.1 for Mac.
I've created a form and I need to enter what I assume to be a custom calculation script.
The field named Text49 needs to be the result of the field named Text46 (manually entered value) multiplied by .062
This is what I've entered in the custom calculation box in Text49:
var v1 = 1 * this.getField("Text46").value;
event.value = v1 * .062;
But it's not working correctly. It'll work the first time when I manually enter a value in Text46 however when I change the manually entered value in Text46, the result in Text49 doesn't change.
Also, Text49 doesn't show up in the box for setting calculation order.
I'm sure it's something with my formula but I can't figure it out and don't know where to look.
Can someone please help?

In response to your question, no there's no script on Text50 but there is custom validation on both Text49 and Text50.
The validation script for Text49 is:

I've tried it with and without the validation script and it's not working either way.
I've tried it with Text49 and Text50 as "hidden" and "visible" and it's not working either way.
The one constant I'm finding is that even when I do get the calculations to work, when I save and close the form and re-open it the calculations have quit working.
I'm at a loss... :(

You won't lose purchases. They can be downloaded to your iTunes library on your computer and backed up.
You can also redownload your purchases directly from your iPad after the restore by signing into the iTunes and App stores with your Apple ID:

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."

4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

I use comcast for my email. I have attached scanned doc in pdf many times successfully. Now attachments will not display, when I check the attachment all I get is a blank page with the note the pdf docs may not display correctly
Firefox 19 changed your default viewer for PDFs to the built-in viewer. Maybe it can't handle the scan due to size or other reasons?
To change your PDF handler to the Adobe Acrobat plugin or an external application, you can update one of your application preferences. There is now a support article on this: [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]].

I'm trying to share a script, but it won't work
I have Story Plus and paying a monthly fee to have this. Aren't I supposed to be able to share a script with someone? When I send a share to someone, they get a message that says that I have exceeded my sharing limit. I haven't shared with anyone so I don't understand.

Story allows for project level sharing. But once the project is shared, all the scripts within the project are shared with the user.
You can share the project with your partner either as co-author or writer depending on the control you want.
The writer has limited permissions and cannot perform the following actions:
See drafts of episodes authored by other writers
Create or view reports and schedules
See the lists assigned to the current project
Share, archive, or rename a project shared with them
See edit notifications for documents created by other users. In particular, users in this role will see the following notifications:
