For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: How to back up
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -
I forgot my ipad password and now I am locked out?
I forgot my ipad password and now I am locked out. What can I do to reset the password on the ipad?
Connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you can't use the computer that you normally sync to then you will need to use a different computer, but you won't be able to re-sync your content. -
My daughter forgot her password and now her ipod has locked her out ir says disabled connect to itunes. The computer she last synced to has crashed. How can I unlock this ipod?
The device will have to be restored but without the last computer it was synced to, that's not a possibility.
Take the iPod to an Apple store or Apple certified repair shop.
You will need a computer in order to sync, restore, and update the iPod in the future.
"If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it."

I have ipod touch and somebody tried many many times(22000000) to enter the password and now it is locked how i open it please help me ???
You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

My Microsoft Office products are corrupt and utility is unable to rebuild. I have a back-up -- what can i do?
Since this question is about a Microsoft product, you might have more luck getting suggestions if you ask in Microsoft's own forums.
Good luck. -
My daughter forget her password and now her ipod touch is disabled. Red message says to connect to itunes. When I do connect to itunes, the device is not recognized and then a message comes on the screen that says it is locked and to enter the password to access it. I cannot access the password and since itunes does not recognize the device, it does not come up on the list on the left, i cannot reset it. What do I need to do so she can use her ipod touch again? Thanks

Connect the iPod to your syncing compuyer and restore the iPod via iTunes on your computer. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter it, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.
