I forgot my password, Firefox said it sent me an e-mail, but I didn't get it. How do I log in??

I forgot my password. I gave my e-mail address and Firefox said it sent me an e-mail with my password so I can log in. I check my e-mail several times, and there is nothing from Firefox.
I tried requesting my password again and Firefox told me it already send me an e-mail. I didn't get it.

Did you look in Spam or Trash folder in your e-mail account?

Activation Lock can NOT be bypassed.
Reset the password for the Apple ID that was initially used on the device. http://iforgot.apple.com

Your phone will need to be unlock in order to send the picture.
i.e. if your using the quick access camera while the phone is lock with the passcode, you will need to unlock the phone first then you can send the pic from your camera roll.

We have forgotten the security code question and each time I request a reset it is being sent to an e-mail addres which does not exist. If you established a rescue email address, there will be a link on the "Passwords & Security" page of id.apple.com. Clicking the link will send the reset to your rescue email address (NOTE: This is not the same address as your Apple ID email)
If there is no link on the page, then you didn't establish a rescue email address. Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466, and ask for account security. You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.

I experienced same problem tonight and called Verizon technical support and they walked me through the settings on iPad. Took about 5 minutes. Basically it involved changing incoming.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net and changing outgoing.verizon.net to smtp.verizon.net. But it's worth the call to ensure other settings are OK. Evidently, change at Verizon was effective today!

the day a virus/trojan/malware is discovered that works on any ios devices that are not jailbroken
you will find it all over the news and all posts in this forum would be about that
try login from the browser rather then the mail program and verify each account setting one by one to verify that they are correctly because an undocumented unwanted feature in the os of your phone could be the cause

If the phone was hacked, you can't get help here. It would not necessarily have to have been hacked. Legitimately unlocked iPhones are available from Apple in the U.S. and AT&T (the only US GSM carrier who ever carried the 3GS) offers unlocking.
Try a replacement SIM from your carrier.
