Retrieve Password for Game Center
I have a different game center ID for my son. He just found out this week that game center requires to sign in again. But he forgot his password. I try to reset the password but the link leads me to reset my Apple ID password. Guys, how can I revive my son's game center ID as there are several games he loves to play. A complete reset will lost all his credits accumulated. Thank you so much in advance.
I'm not sure my self either, specially like that one in the link. i let my younger brother use my gamecenter bc i use the same games he does and a few games i dont use. and since he's artistick alittle and doesnt care much and neither do i, i dont c why not he uses my gamecenter id.
but yes, i do aggree, there should be some kind of account management reset pswd thingy about this.
idk even how to make another account of a different ID on the same apple account lie that sort of thing.
all ino that gamecenter is still improving on whatevr there doing. -
I'm changing online passwords for email and other online applications due to hacking in my mail account. Gaming applications are included in this process. Currently my Game Center account password is my Apple ID password. Can I change the Game Center account password independently, or do I have to change my Apple ID password across the board (for iTunes, Game Center, etc) ?
You reset your password the same you would for any id.

You can't recover the password. If you could, I could have as well and the whole purpose of encryption would be moot. This is why it is a good practice to save the original PDF before you secure it.
If the password that you created was a really strong one (other than word 'password' or some other word) I doubt that the password recovery programs would do the work. They are usually good only for fairly simple passwords.
Acrobat X added new way of encryption that is almost impossible to crack and Acrobat XI added the password strength indicator which tells you how good the password that you're entering is. -

Ok so I forgot my password for the Game Center and the only place I put it is on my lost ipod which I probably didn't backup and I can't just change the Apple ID password because I used a compleaty different password for game center and I'm so confused !!!! Please help!! Is there anyway I can ask apple for my password?

Having trouble making account for game center.
I've already made an apple ID but when I entered it on my new phone's game center, I got past the whole birthday thing but the next bit where it says to make a username when I press done it says that I haven't put in a password. I scrolled down but there is no where to put a password. Please help me cause I don't know how to do it. My old iPhone was an iPhone 3G so I didn't have game center.
Yes, you can have/use different Apple IDs for game center but youhave to sign out and sign in with the other (Settings>Game Center)

I forgot my password for my iphone 4 and it is now disabled. I am trying to restore it through itunes, but it say I have to put my passcode into my phone first. Is there a way to restore without using my passcode?
The instructions are in that link. Just follow them VERY CAREFULLY. Especially the part about:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes. [but DON'T connect it to the iPhone yet]
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see the iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. -

In your case your only solution is to restore it ( see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 ) and you may need to force it into restore mode to do that. This will wipe everything off it and reset it as new, without the passcode. You can then redownload purchased content, buy unless you have a sync'd copy of your contacts and photo's they will be gone.
