It isn't possible to change the rescue email address after forgetting more than one of the answers.

The email address that shows for the reset link will be your rescue email address - that is the only place that it will show, it's not (and can't be) the same address as your primary email address nor any alternate email addresses on your account. If you don't recognise the address (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

So, I've had my Macbook Pro for a week now and i have set it up with security questions etc, I have just come to buying an app and before I could i was asked to verify who I am and answer secuity questions.I know the answers to the questions and I keep typing them in but the computer keeps saying it's incorrect so i must be typing them in incorrectly to how i set them.
There is an alternative option, send a rescue email. But there is only one problem I have never seen this email address before in my life!
Help.! Please i have no idea what i should do!

As I said in the title, I forgot my security question answers and my rescue email address has been deactivated. Conveniently, you must enter your security questions to change your rescue email. The answers to the security questions are sent to the rescue email, so I am stuck. My only option seems to be to call Apple Support, which is my entire Friday off spent on an aggravating phone call. If anyone can give my an alternative route for fixing my problem, I am all ears.
