I forgot the passlock to my iPod and now its disabled. What do I do? How do I undisable it?

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

Kmc21Restore, if iTunes will let you. Everything except the password will be restored. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. Be forewarned that it takes a long time. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -
hiu i have an ipod which shares same itunes/icloud account as my iphone. i deleted the contacts off ipod and they have now gone off my phone too. anyone help, how can iget these back on my phone?
When you share an iCloud account between devices, any action you take on one device (such as deleting contacts) is synced to the others. (That's want iCloud does; syncs data across devices, keeping the data on the devices the same.)
The only way to recover them now is to try restoring your device to your last backup, or restore them from another backup source. -
i need help!??? i just tried to update my ipod and now its making me restore it on itunes and it wont complete the restoring process. Its giving the warning that the updated software server couldn't be reached. Can anybody help????

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Cloud apps are only available via subscription via a Cloud plan.
If you need 3 or more apps then a Cloud Complete membership is the way to go. -

No. Without the Apple ID and password, the phone is forever useless. There is no way around that. This is an anti-theft security feature - Acivation Lock. If it could be circumvented, it would be useless.
The article i previously posted explains how to find your Apple ID and password. The fact that you found it useless suggests that this iPhone is not yours.

Friend locked ipod and now its frozen..
My friend locked my ipod in class today to be funny, and i had no idea what the code was so i couldnt unlock it. When i got home, i tried to sync it with my computer but it wouldnt sync when i plugged it in. Then i unplugged the ipod from the computer, and now its been stuck on the Do Not Disconnect screen no matter what i do for the last 20 minutes.. any suggestions?

I had an old crap laptop that wasn't apple and I used that for the past 2 years to sync my iPod but I have got rid of that and now I have an iMac. I have forgotton the 4 number digit passcode to my ipod and I have tried about 25 different combinations and I still cant get it right, so I just came to the conclusion that I have to reset the whole thing. I couldn't do it on my old laptop because it would keep running out of memory and I cant get it to connect to my new pc.
