I found 55 unauthorized charges in my itunes

Hi, I just found over 50 unauthorized charges on my account too going back a few months.
I spoke to customer services and they tried to offer a very partial refund and sent me some emails
about how to use iTunes and to make purchases!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter downloaded videos from a DVD onto her iPad and iTunes has charged her for each
video as if she downloaded them as purchases. Also, loads of App games have been charging
me for unauthorized downloads of coins and extras. Have you had the same kind of problem??
This is my first time on the forums - I am really angry...

    There isn't a phone number for iTunes Support, you can contact them via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
    If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it - click on that and you should then see a list of the purchases on your account.
    Is your son making in-app purchases in that game ? If he is then you can turn off in-app purchases on the device via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and depending upon the iOS version on the device you may also have a Require Password setting on the Restrictions screen which you can set to 'Immediately'.

    To try and stop it happening again, you should be able to set Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and you should also be able to set Require Password to 'Immediately' via the Restrictions screen.

    I have over $150 unauthorized charges on my itunes to paypal accounts.  I have changed passwords on each account as well as put in a dispute resoultion with Paypal.  How do I contact Apple to dispute these charges.  I had a balance with itunes cards.  Also, how do I disable my account from going to paypal.  This site lets me change password etc. but not how my account is charged.  HELP!  I want to stop the charges before they deplete me as I have heard that Apple and Paypal are in cahoots and do not refund your money (at least this was the case in the past!)

    That would be a criminal conspiracy, you should call your local law enforcement if you think that is what is happening.

    Recently I changed my debit card and my credit card because unauthorized charged from iTunes. I just got my new credit card 3 days ago, never been used for any online purchase. I am scare to input my credit card for any kind of purpose. Today I found out online, I have pending unauthorized charged from iTunes. On my bank account had 10 unauthorized charges, all were from iTunes. In my credit card (old card had 1 charged) and now the new one has 1 pending charge. What's is going on??     If these charges are being made to a credit or debit card, the most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company or bank and report the unauthorized charges. That company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
    Also, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:

    and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
    If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.

    First, make sure that you did not inadvertently make an in-app purchase. Many apps, particularly games, are free for the base game but charge for additional features such as levels, "coins" and other such add-ons. Check your Purchase History to see if that reminds you as to what you might have purchased:

    Hello,
    Can someone please explain why is there an unauthorized charge from iTunes on my credit card?
    After I did a single purchase ever, the Mountain Lion of 19.99 from App store on 8 Feb 2013, I went to check my card on my bank's site and discovered that there is one more transaction from iTunes with an amount of 1.98 USD. I did not purchase anything from iTunes/App store with that price. This transaction appears to be charged from exactly same iTunes: "Retail LUX ITUNES.COM APPLE ITUNES STORE-USD"
    What is going on? is iTunes stealing money ? This transaction DOES NOT appear in iTunes purchase history.

    I changed the country for my iTunes account to be able to add the cc and make a purchase. And yes, it is my first purchase with money on iTunes. I did contact the bank. They said they can't do anything about it and that on 11 of March, 2013, (today) this transaction would actually be debited on my cc. I will see. What's funny though is that the bank has offered to make a more "accurate" investigation of this case, and it would cost me 10 EUR.
    I simply can't go with the version that my card has been compromised the same day I did a purchase on iTunes. Apple is not being customer friendly when they pinch money from users with these "ping the card" transactions.

    Please start by signing on to your account dashboard, where we sign on to the Skype website to manage payment methods and subscriptions, to ensure your e-mail address is up-to-date and accurate.  Then, change your account password immediately if you have not already done so.  In the Windows Desktop version of the Skype software, doing this is easy: click on the menu bar above your contact list Skype -> Change Password.
