I found a bug? No apps on first page? (or !) (how to reproduce it!)

Hello dear all,
Today I finally found out how to reproduce a bug on my iPhone,
which I had already a serval times.
The Bug is not worse, it just kinda looks cool.
(I will post some links to Screenshots when MobileMe is out of maintainence)
_*Well,to the first Description of the bug*_
Sometimes after a call I put my iPhone back into my Pocket,
after taking it out again i activate the screen with the Power or Home Button,
then unlock the Screen as usual, but what is that?!
My first screen is black! There are no apps anymore?!
It only shows the status bar on the top and the apps in the Dock.
When i switch then to the second Screen, the apps appear normal there.
Back to the first, the page is still black/blank...
Then I switch to the SPOTLIGHT PAGE and I see the _Photo Library_ App.
OVERLAPPING the search field! ***?!
I switched of my screen, reactivated it, unlocked the iPhone...
EVERYTHING went back to NORMAL again O_o ?!?!
_*Today I found how to reproduce it*_
I had a phone call where I needed to search back a note on the phone
while I was still in the call of course.
Later after that call I had the bug again! But I remembered myself,
always I had this bug I locked the screen on the "credit balance notification"
which appeared on the first page (not over the call screen because I closed
the call screen before to search a note and I did not went back)
So I reprocued it, I will now go step by step, so that you can try it too:
-First activate the "credit balance notification" after every call (you need this else you cannot reproduce, I hope your provider allows you to do this)
-Now call yourself on another phone and take off, now it is important to push the home button to change to the first page! Then you can hang up.
The "credit balance notification" should appear now over your first page.
DON'T DISMISS IT!
-Deactive the screen by pushing the power button.
-Reactive your screen and unlock your phone... there it should be...
*THE BUG!!!*
-After deactivating an reactivating the screen, it should be gone again.
_*Additional and Feedback*_
Important to get this bug is to have such a notification appearing over the first page. If you know another way to get such a notification without calling yourself on another phone, let me please know.
I hope you can give me feedback and experience on this bug,
so I will send it to apple after I have some confirmations.

It is a notification comming from the provider. Actualy it can be everything from them, it has nothing to do with balance (neither with push notifications).
It is a notification message like this one

Important is to have this notification "popup" appearing over the first page,
then lock the screen. Like i told you it is a bug in the iPhone OS, I just need confirmation.

How to always start ipad app with first page?

Hi,
I'm creating an ipad app using InDesign CC.
Right now when I close the app and open it again it shows the last page before closing.
Is there a way to tell the app to always start from the first page?

I only want the header on the first page . How do I remove it from the other pages but leave it on the first page only.

Uncheck the Headers (and Footers) settings in the Document Inspector.
Enter the 'header information' directly on the first page, or put it into a text box. There's no need to use Headers if you want the information on only one page.

I lost app store app from home page. How do I get it back?

The icon for the app store is no longer on my home page. How do I get it back? I can't get to the app store unless I use Siri.

I would imagine that you may have accidently moved it to another homepage or folder. You cannot delete a native iOS app. From the home page, swipe downwards from about the center of the page to bring up Spotlight search. Type App Store and see if you locate it. If it is in a folder, the name of the folder will be listed to the right. From there, you can locate it and move it back to where you want it. If that does not help you locate it, you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. Understand that doing so will rearrange all of you apps and folders.

First page empty - how can I delete it?

Not sure if I am in the right forum but I'll try. I wasn't able to get into another forum.
I am using Livecycle designer 8.05. I created a form and it worked fine. Now I moved the last page to the front and a Master page appeared, which is empty (not sure where the master page was before, but I didnt' have an empty page there). I don't want an empty first page but I don't know how to get rid of it. I don't have this problem in any other form I created. Pelase help!

Master page is default and will be there all the time. Each Body page can be associated with same/different Master page for overlay purpose. You may have resolved the issue by now. But if need help email a copy of your template to n_varma(AT)lycos.com

When printing a multi-page document, my computer only prints the first page. How do I correct this problem?

Using Explorer, I found how to correct this problem by going to "print preview" then selecting an option to print all pages. Firefox does not have the same selection.

This can happen when Firefox has misread the paper size from the information supplied by Windows. Clearing it can involve finding some obscure settings, but here goes:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''print''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) For each setting for the problem printer, right-click and Reset it. The fastest way is to right-click with the mouse and then press the r key on the keyboard with your other hand.
Note: In a couple other threads involving Brother printers, the preference '''printer_printer_name.print_paper_data''' was set to 256 and when the user edited it to 1 that fixed the paper size problem. If you see a 256 there, you can edit the value by doubling-clicking it or using right-click>Modify.

Found a bug in Coverflow

I found what I believe to be a bug in Coverflow today. Here's how to reproduce it.
Start a playlist (the playlist should have multiple songs from multiple albums in it). The ipod should be in "shuffle" and "repeat" mode.
Start listening to the first song in portrait mode.
At some point before the first song is over, switch to landscape mode.
Once the first song ends, the second song will start playing, however:
a) The album shown in Coverflow wont change to the new album
b) The song listed in Coverflow will change to the next song on the album being shown (the previous songs album).
Changing back to portrait mode will result in the correct album cover being shown.
This problem was duplicated at the Apple store by 2 different employee's, also.
I tried to post this with Apples bug reporting tool, but I kept getting errors, so, can someone submit this to them, please?

No data found in report csv or pdf output on first page load

No data found in report csv output on first page load. Report shows up on page, but no data found in csv or pdf output. I always need to submit the page and then it shows data in downloads. The page contains a form (read-only) with a report that references 4 page items by using something like the following:
and b.employee_no = v('P5_EMPLOYEE_NO')
and c.fisc_year_pk = v('P5_FISC_YEAR_PK')
and b.job_class = v('P5_JOB_CLASS')
and b.organization = v('P5_ORGANIZATION')
Again, report in the page shows up except there is no data in downloads. Can anyone help me solve this problem? I'm running Oracle APEX 4.2.1 in Oracle database 11gR2.

Sounds like a classic session state issue.
You need to populate you page items using page rendering computations to ensure they're set to session state.
Or if the download is triggered from a button press, you need to ensure those page items are submitted to session state, perhaps via a PL/SQL action.

you can use different page header and footer have develope the report in 2 pages or only one page .
if you develope the report in 2 pages
in the first page remove header and use different first page header property in word and paste the header in second page.

How do I keep a custom letterhead on the first page in pages 5. I made a custom template using text boxes and when the first page is full, the letterhead moves to the second page and disappears from the first page. How can I keep it on the first page and not moving to the second page.

Text Box at the top of Page 1.
Select the Text Box and
Format Panel > Arrange > Object Placement > Stay on Page
That will stop it moving (flowing) with the text.

Another way is to put your letterhead in the Page Header of Page 1. Insert a Section Break at the bottom of Page 1 (Click where you want the Section Break and
Menu > Insert > Section Break).
Click in Section 2, and
Document Panel > Section > Headers & Footers > untick Match previous section

Get rid of first page in PDF generated by report designer

When I publish a report from report designer and convert it to print version, the first page of the PDF has - name of the report and last updated information for the whole first page. How can I get rid of this page? is there any setting that I need to do to get rid of the front page with all these details.

Bug found in Activity Monitor app

Hello,
I think I've found a bug in Activity Monitor.
If you move the app from Applications/Utilities to Applications it will start up but the rainbow disk will spin forever, and the window will not be populated with data. Put it back into Utilities and it works again.
The issue is that the location of activitymonitord seems to be hardcoded to be in the Utilities folder.
The following steps are repeated endlessly:
com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.ActivityMonitor[3061]): posixspawn("/Applications/_Utilities/Activity Monitor.app/Contents/MacOS/activitymonitord", ...): No such file or directory
com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.ActivityMonitor[3061]): Exited with exit code: 1
com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.ActivityMonitor): Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

Well, I think those apps and utilities are probably not designed well then. It goes against UI expectations if you aren't allowed to make a subfolder in Applications or Utilities folders.
And, I have enough apps now that I need to make subfolders to keep it sane and quickly navigable.
The only app I've found so far which dies is Activity Monitor. In my case, I have been launching it often to figure out why the Mac crashes and hangs so often. Badly behaving apps like this (just crash, not retry endlessly!) and apparently a lack of a supervisory system to kill them is a problem I think with the Mac.

Why does the Mac App Store default back to the first page of results?

When I search in the MAS for any app and there are more than one page of results, while I am browsing pages 2 and up when I select an app to look at and go back to the search results (either by swiping on my trackpad OR clicking the back button) the list of pages defaults to the first page of results. Is this a bug or is there some setting somewhere that I can change to make it work right??

This is a user forum; whether or not anybody at Apple sees this is not known.
You could log a feature request with Apple via the bugreport tool, if you have access to that tool.
