I found an ipod nano at my work.
is there a way that i can find out who it belongs too, there has been no calls or any response to the sign for three days.
i know this is odd but finders keepers. Well maybe tell the security desk at your work, and maybe he/she will announce it. Give it a week and if nobody claims it then keep it.

Did the battery run out of power? If not, try doing a Reset to "reboot" the iPod

Yesterday I tried to play my ipod nano and nothing worked. It is on and the main screen comes up but none of the buttons will work. I charged it then went online and did the hold button back and forth trick and holding the menu and select button down but nothing makes it unfreeze. I can't play it in the car or anywhere. It just stays on with no buttons working. What can i do?

iPod nano's are not waterproof. It's almost certainly dead. Time for a trip to the Apple store to buy a replacement. Try and keep the new one dry!

Apple can do nothing to help. You should turn it into the front desk or lost and found if possible or turn it over to the police.

It sounds like you have a 5G Nano. See your iPod's User Guide for information on how to delete these videos from the Nano via the Nano's interface.

Ipod nano will not work - keeps saying I cannot disconnect,
I downloaded the I pod Updater 6-28-06. when I connected my ipod nano, the updater came up and stated that my ipod needed updating, so I hit the update button. After forever, nothing happened, but my ipod no longer works and all my music was erased from it. My ipod keeps saying not to disconnect, but I tunes does not even register that the ipod is connected.
How do I fix this problem?That is a pretty good sign that the battery is shot and in need of replacement. You can have Apple replace the battery for a flat fee, sending it a third party repair company to have them swap it out for a little less, or you can even purchase a replacement battery and change it out yourself using one of the numerous guides found online.
