I have some open questions as answered by experts, and i tried to assign pts but always got error message.
Does anyone else has same issue, and what should i do??

For example for this thread, i am trying to choose radio button 'Solved the questions" to your answer with pt10.
But system give below error message:
" You are about to mark the message "Re: I found i could not assign pts in this forum..." by sap.sats as correct which means ...
An error has occured while assigning pts. Please refresh the thread view and try again.
I have tried to refresh many times, but still could not assign pts!!!
Does anyone else has the same issues??

I have been using Adobe Photoshop since 1998. I recently replaced my computer and placed the Adobe Photoshop 5.0 CD in to install, and found that could not load the software, and referred me to Adobe. What should I do?

have several ringtones in my itune. while synchronising 2 errors appear.1. several objects could not be found,2. an iphone was found but could not be indentified. iph.4s was new reset, ios 6

Here is what I did and so far seems it is wworking.
1. I deleted oDesk and ShareFile. I removed them using MacKeeper (I found this application very usefull for uninstalling applications as MacKeeper looks for them all over the computer: cache, preferences, application support etc.) While for oDesk is simple as I can look myself for oDesk in any file names, whith ShareFile was a little tricky to amke it amnually as MacKeeper find files that contain Citrix name then ShareFile. I will not guess unless I would search the internet on how to manually remove sharefile from my system.
2. I manually delete all cahe files and folders from ~Library and ~User/Library.
3. After reboot I installed Onyx and order maintanance where I checked all its options, including but not limited to DNS caches, fonts caches, everything.
4. After I reboot computer, I went in Disk Utility and Repaired permissions.
Reboot again. Now seems to work fine. At least odesk Team is working properly. I will have a second thought for installing ShareFile.
Some romanian mac users suggested to check my router connectivity and change some DNS in it. Looks like that was also a problem on some MACs. I recall the few weeks ago I had an issue with TP Link router. My computer wasn't connected to internet, though router showed that there is internet connection. I ping router from my computer and I received answer from ping. I ping google from computer, nothing. I ping google from router, was wroking. I connected the computer directly to internet without router, was wroking. When connected back through router, nothing. I contacted the guys from TP Link and they suggested to use google DNS instead of those my ISP provided. But since then I had not experienced any issue with router and internet, until now. The DNS are still those from google.
I will keep you updated if any issues are appear again. So far, it is working perfectly as it supposed to work.

Thunderbird has just failed after an update. It doesn't open. I get the following message:

Whenever i click the link for a great app i found, to go to the app-store, the app store reply is " could not complete your request" this happen for every app link that i persue! Need help
Try signing out of your account and then sign back in and see if that helps.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try again. -
Since I downloaded Snow Leopard on my iMac, my HP all-in-one C7280 scanner will not work. It says "scanner not found, scanner could not be initialized". Any ideas?
Hi,
I suggest uninstalling the printer drivers from your HP printer. The go to System Preferences> Printer & Fax and in the printer list box go ahead and reset the printing system. Do that by right clicking over the printer list box ad the option should appear. After that close system preferences and reinstall your printer drivers from the HP CD. After installation check if your printer works as expected, if it does, stop here and ignore the rest of the message.
If you don't have the install CDs for the printer or the previous step does not work; connect your printer to your Mac via USB and then again go to system preferences. Open the Print & Fax menu and in the printer list box you should see a "+" sign. Click on it, and a new window should appear with a list of printers that are available to you. If that's the case, go ahead click your printer name and wait for the computer to look in the Apple servers for the drivers. When searching is finished click the "install" button. This process will open software update and install the neccesary drivers.
After that, you should be able to scan documents with the Preview App.

I am trying to sync my iphone 4 to my computer ( Windows 7 64 bit ) so I can update my apps. when I connect my phone to the computer, a window pos up with the following . . . . . . . . .
this iphone 'colin's iphone' could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorised for purchased items that are on this phone
to authorise this computer for items purchased from the itunes store, choose store > authorise this computer OK.
I click on Store, authorise... type in apple id... type in password... click on authorise
It then says.... this computer is already authorised.... including this one, you have authorised one computer out of your available 5.
I unplug my phone and plug it in again and it does exactly the same again???

the best and the esiest way is to solve this problem :
create a new account (as an administator recomended)
Bonjour servises must be enabled ( go to control panel > administartive tools> sevices> Bounjour services (change the category to large icons if you dont see administartive tools )
install itunes
sign in
authorize
SYNC
it must sync normally
but if the meesage pops up that points on a particular items that could not be synced ( to ur itunes because you are not authorized for this items ) REMOVE THEM
creating a new user account shows the items wich dont let you sync your iPhone
after you REMOVE those **** items that were not authorised , you can go to your old user account and SYNC it as old kind time
was having this problem 2 weeks , and nothing helped except this was. not deleting the SC Info folder, now copying apple folder to some other mobile divce folder
REMEMBER the problem is in your iPhone , it is about the items that are in your iPhone

This is not about wanting to manage music, etc. It's about my work. I have an app in development and need to load the latest IPA for testing, a process performed through iTunes, like syncing anything else. When I try and sync I get the message, "The iPhone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone.
I did the research on the internet and haven't found an adequate answer. I've tried:
— Being sure I'm logged into the same iTunes account as the iPhone.
— Deauthorizing then Authorizing the computer, after which I get an alert saying the computer has been successfully authorized, resulting in the same error message again when I again try and sync.
— Removing the SC Info folder, as found in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389 . I guess I have the only Mac that has no trace af any such "SC Info" folder anywhere in the system (OS 10.6.8).
— Logged in under every conceivable account configuration (computer admin, device account, etc...) to no avail.
I have to get this IPA imported into the iPhone. It's the same process as syncing anything else. If anyone has a solution, please send it along. Clock is loudly ticking.

After my conversation with him, which I knew was BS btw, I immediatley called Geek Squad with whom my computer has a warranty through after they installed virus software on my new laptop (4 months old). I had a VERY long online session where they ran several virus test and found nothing. Although I was VERY happy that my computer didn't have a virus, I still had the problem of my itunes not working. After several hours, he made sure that all of my apps were down loaded, and then restored my iphone to factory settings, and sync my device. It worked perfectly and all and I mean ALL 240 apps were downloaded back onto my iphone along with my music and all of my tones. When asked why my itunes was acting in that manner the answer that I got was,"...apparently you had a correct file some where in itunes and everything had to be reset". Regardless, everything is back to normal and I don't have to get a new phone or delete itunes from my computer. Hope this helps!

TS1702 "App could not be purchased at this time" error
Since upgrading to iOS7 every other app I try to install (free or paid) on my iPad 3 I get the "App could not be purchased at this time" box. After that the app store shows a the circling progress indicator rotating indefinitely below the app, and I can't click to try to install again.
The only way to get around to try installing the app again is to shut down and restart the iPad.
This has been happening since the release of iOS7 more than a month ago.
It's unlikely to be a network problem since it happened on various locations. The fact that I can't try to install again appears to be a bug to me.
Any ideas?

I have emoji installed too, but i found out that the most simple/fastest way of getting arround this issue is:
- open app-store
- buy app
- type in password
- get error (spinning)
- double tap - home button
- close/quit app-store-app (swipe up)
- open app-store again
- buy again (says already bought)
- app installs
pretty annoying indeed. Restart is not nessasary, as its the same as force-quitting the app-store-app. -

According to your description, could you please post the summary and detail logs for further analysis? By default, the logs can be found in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log.
Usually, the error occurs when the Windows Installer Service is not running or the Windows Installer registry settings are corrupted. I recommend you reset the Windows Installer Service settings in the registry and restart the Windows Installer Service,
then reinstall SQL Server 2008 R2. For more details, please review this similar
