Is there a plug-in for Elements that allows me to open Kodak Photo CDs?

Unfortunately there is no plugin for photoshop elements on the mac side running mavericks that i know of.
You should be able to import the photos into iPhoto from the cd

Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

If you go to Settings > iTunes & AppStore , you can sign out from your account, and sign in with the one you've used to purchase apps.This will not remove any apps you already have on it.
Then you can go to AppStore and download apps you've purchased (either via "Purchased" button in "Updates", or simply search for them and download them.
That way you can have multiple accounts' apps on your iPad. When updating, you will be prompted for the credentials for account you've purchased given App with.

Basically you will have to transfer its contents to the new computer and then restore the iPod and then resync. An iPod can only sync to one iTunes library.

Drag the Library from the Pictures folder to the Users/Shared folder. I would point out that folks doing this on 10.6 and later frequently meet permissions issues. You might do better moving it to an appropriately formatted External Disk.

All 3rd party apps - all paid and free apps include DRM protection, which is tied to the iTunes account that was used to download the apps. Help. I have an IMac and I want to scan and be able to edit my scans and I have received so many different opinions on how to do this. Buy a separate scanner or buy an all in one that scans but you have to get software to edit. It is really confusing so before I purchase a scanner I need to know if anyone else is doing this and what machine should I buy. Thanks for the help.

Get the Fujitsu (Get the M1500, the S1500 is for Windows), it comes with ABBy Fine Reader OCR software that is probably less good than Vuescan but for printed text works just fine, handwriting is a different matter. It is about $500 (look around, under $400 is sometimes possible) don't buy the S version, none of the software will work on a Mac. I've used this scanner fairly often, it's better than the price would suggest.
