I found the answer to "other space" !!

For years I have been reading forums and trying to figure out how to get rid of the "other" space that was taking up 2+ gigs on my phone. Today, just for the heck of it, I uploaded almost all of the video and photos from my iPhone 5s up to my iMac. All that I have left on my iPhone is 39 photos. I did a sync with iTunes and my other is nearly GONE. When I mouse over it, it says 422.3 mb, but the yellow space is so small, that the word "other" doesn't even show up.
So rather than go through the mess of restoring your phone, try the above. Apparently if you keep a lot of photos and videos, you are going to get the "other" with it. I am so excited. Yay! I will continue to use photo and video, but at least I know now, that when "other" gets out of control, I can store the photos/video somewhere else and reclaim my phone.

Other storage is for other types of data that iTunes can't display and manage for you. Like application settings. Your operating system. Etc.

I asked the question I am unable to print from my iPad 3 since the last update it says printer no longer available with an error code 5809EC well no one directly answered my question so I started looking at other questions that were similar and I found an answer from Demo from Pittsburgh PA his suggestion was to turn off your printer and iPad and restart them, and this worked perfectly. His answer was in reference to a question asked last march so to others it's ok to seek answers from 7 months ago he was right.

4 questions I have not found the answer to yet...

1. What is Iphoto doing internally to create more vivid photos that I'm unable to reproduce in other photo management applications? When I import a photo from my camera to Iphoto it looks vivid and great. I then export that image from Iphoto to my desktop and view it in a different application and it looks washed out. What exactly is Iphoto doing to create the vividness in the photos that is not being carried over when viewing the picture in other programs and how do I insure what I'm looking at in Iphoto is what my family will be looking at when they view photos I post to our website?
2. What specifically is being read from the jpgs in Iphoto and in preview that is not being read in other applications?
3. Why does a photo, I export directly from Iphoto and ftp to our website, look more vivid in safari compared to viewing it in Firefox or IE? What is safari reading in the image that Firefox and IE are not?
4. Also, when I take a vivid photo in Iphoto and export it to a photo page using iweb, the photo carries its vividness when viewing it via say firefox. However, if I take the same photo and export it using Iphotos built in web page option (under export), the photo looks noticeably washed out when viewing in say firefox. What is the difference between the two ways it was exported that allowed the photo to be more vivid in the gallery created with iweb and not with the gallery created with Iphoto's built in webpage export option?

I suspect that it's the same answer to all the
questions. What ColorProfile is attached to the file,
and are all the non-Apple apps reading it?
That's just it... I don't know which color profile is attached and I don't know why Iphoto outputs different profiles for different export types.
This goes back to the photo looking vivid in firefox with a gallery created via Iweb, but looking washed out if was exported to the desktop. I don't quite grasp how drag and dropping the file out of iphoto will not have the same information as using Iweb to create a photo page. It makes no sense to me...

it will give excellent results. If the third party
app is not reading the profile, or is viewing it
through a different profile, the results will not be
as successful.
We can set firefox aside because it is able to view the vivid version in some manner... as far as the other apps (acdsee, PS E, IE in XP, and FF in XP) I will check to see if they can see the vivid version created via Iweb, or if they see the vivid as washed out.
It's noticeable that in all your questions that the
Apple apps: iPhoto, Preview and Safari produce
excellent results, and third party apps don't. Try
and find a way to make the third party app read the
Color Profile and the problem should disappear.
I did make a 3rd party app see the vivid form of the file... that being when I used firefox to view the photo page created in Iweb... What doesn't make sense is that should be the same file as the image that was exported to the desktop, however the desktop image does not come up in vivid color.
In fact it should be the exact opposite since iweb resizes the original photo for the web, while the file dragged to the desktop (or exported there) should be the exact bit for bit that was taken off the camera.
On the Safari v Firefox question, they use different
rendering engines, and while it's tempting to say
that Safari's is better, it might also be that Safari
is better 'tuned' to the Apple Monitors and Screens.
This would be the case if I had not been able to see the image in vivid color via firefox... but I was able to, so it debunks this idea...

Here you go the answer to all their problems... no tech willing to give us this answer so here I got it after 5 years :
Get a freakin Motherboard with onboard sound... no more problems! No clicks, no snap... just clear sound.
So far I've tried not only Creative but Hercules, M-Audio (audiophile serie) and of course Sound blaster Li've!, Audigy, Audigy2, Audigy2 Zs... All got a snapping sound so that means the problem is somewhere else : Power supply? Static? I've notice that the problems come when sound output comes to a peak... Anyway... Big relief to watch and listen to music without this drivin' me completly nuts sound!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

I found the answer to my question. Please disrgard.

I asked whether mySony digital video camera recorder DCR-TRV 11 is a CMOS or a CCD based image sensor. Then I reallized that I might find it in my manual, and I did. This camcorder is a CCD-based image sensor, which means that there won't be a problem with image stabilization when using iMovie '09.
More and more, I am thinking that maybe I ought to just use this camcorder and not get a High Definition camcorder.

I have found the answer to restoring tabs in safari...

After a whole day of trying to get this to work I finally managed it so thought I would share:
Safari stopped opening last used tabs when I updated Mountain Lion. Couldn't find a concrete answer so...
I found that this option (highlighted):
...ONLY APPEARS WHEN THIS OPTION IS TURNED ON:
If the red bit above isn't checked, then the option doesn't appear in the safari preferences.

Has anyone found the answer to the "can't connect to wireless" problem?

Since 10.5 I have not been able to connect to either our home wireless network or the city free wireless network. Our other systems running 10.4 connect perfectly. We also have 2 PCs which work fine. I installed 10.4 in a seperate drive in my system and it works fine. I tried to go back to 10.4 on my main HD but that turned into a bucket of worms. When you try to go back archive and install does not carry back your settings, prefs, mail, etc. I have Googled the problem and there are many people with the same problem. A few people said they had a fix but none worked for me. Anyone have anything new??

I found the answer for windows users error 2330

1- Go to Microsoft.com
2- Scroll down to support (On the right)
3- In the search box enter 290301
4- Click on Description of the Windows Installer Cleanup utility
5- Scroll down page (Before grey area) Download the Windows installer cleanup utillity package. It is Free.
This helped me, hope it helps you!

Here's what I did:
1: Check the show album art box
2: Switch to automatic update (all)
3: Highlight all songs
4: Select Convert ID3 tags
5: In ID3 tag version, select v2.4.
6: Let it convert

I finally found the answer! (Using calender and contacts)

I had my ipod for 9 months and the contacts etc. always baffled me. I read the help but as ignorant as i am i did not understand. (However i have qualifications in IT!) Anyway i thought i'd write a post to help those in a seemingly esay way to understand. For windows.
1. Connect Pod.
2. Open my computer and go to Pod drive.
3. There are 3 folders, contacts, calenders and notes - im sure you know.
4. Open Microsoft Outlook. Make a contact but when you save as: - save it as a Vcard (option below name in list)save it outside the 3 folders. Then drag it into the contact folder with mouse.
5. For calender save as icalender.
6. For Notes save as txt and create in Notepad.
I know i'm probably repeating things already said but i think it would have helped me. Maybe it'll be useful.

TS1503 How can I reduce the amount of 'other' space used up on an iPhone 5?

I am almost at storage capacity on my iPhone 5. Almost 1/3 of my 16GB is taken up by the category 'Other'. I have read posts pertaining to this with solutions that are supposed to help by deleting all of my music. But I have also been advised not to try that. Any other suggestions or comments?

If you have read the countless posts answering this question, then you n=know that you need to restore the iphone. You can try from backup first. If that does not help, then restore as new.

Found the Answer...(I Think)

OK, so I just made my zillionth phone call and I think this ITunes/Time Warner mess may be resolved today; and soon. I was able to do the tracert phobos.apple.com command and it did time out in San Jose at Level 3 like everyone said it would. I was sent to the National Time Warner Help Desk and they called over senior tech personel. They apparrently got a bunch of calls today about this and have been working on the problem for a few hours now. They said it should be resolved soon. Hopefully sometime today. They will keep testing this to make sure it works. I also have a reference number just in case. They admitted the problem was on their side and it was a RoadRunner issue. I feel really really badly about blaming ITunes. This was not their fault. It was just a coincidence that 7.01 came out roughly the same time all this connectivity stuff did.
Hang in there guys! We will get our tunes back!!! Too bad Time Warner didnt offer to "forget" our bill balances this month....
