I frame not working

Hi,
I have a page posted here:

My problem is the iframe that loads successfully when posted
to my server but when I preview with Dreamweaver on my local setup,
I get a blank square. If I load the page into an I frame that is
not in this template, I can see it when previewed. I assume there
must be something in the code of my template or my linking that's
messed up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply Peter... I tried to reset/replace the preferences with no luck. I am truly at a loss. I thought that maybe I locked something, but... nope. I was on Adobe's chat last night and waited for 45 minutes just to have the rep end our chat because they closed. I have a ton of deadlines today, and really not sure what to do.

Effects and key-frames not working on some clips Premiere CC 2014

Hi. I am having an issue where effects and key frames applied to both audio and video are not working, but only sometimes. Even after I render or export the video, the effects are not showing up. For example, trying to adjust volume using key-frames on some clips works fine, and not at all on others. The key-frames show up and I can see the volume changing in the effects panel, but it is not happening. Another example is changing the opacity on some video clips and it does not work sometimes. Same thing, I can see the key-frames and the values changing, but it's not actually happening. I have uninstalled and re-installed premiere pro and media encoder with no luck. I have uninstalled and re-installed the latest Nvidia drivers with no luck. Just to restate, this only happens on some clips and rendering or exporting the video does not help. My computer specs are:
MSI GT60 Laptop:
Intel Core i7 4800MQ (2.70GHz)
16GB Memory 1TB HDD 128GB SSD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M 8GB
2880 x 1620 16:9 3K Display
Windows 8.1 64-Bit

Here is the exact screenshot. Now I'm also trying other effects as stated in my original post. But this effect is just an example. Is there really something that I'm doing wrong here? Or am I forgetting something? Is there some special "adobe doesn't let keyframes work on mpg's" rule or something silly like that?
I wish that I could post a video, but I don't know how.
Please let me know what I need to do to make this work properly.

I tried using CreateStrokeWeightCommand of IGraphicAttributeUtils, but its not working in CS4.

Hi All,
CreateStrokeWeightCommand of IGraphicAttributeUtils works only when if the frame has some stroke weight already applied to it.
So do i need to set something else before using CreateStrokeWeightCommand to make it work programatically on a frame with no stroke weight.

Hyperlinked button in scrollable frame not working

Hi all,
I'm working on a multi-article folio. The first article includes a scrollable frame that contains a group made up of one image and two buttons.
One of those buttons works correctly; that is, it is a mailto that brings up an email client when clicked.
The other button should open a web page in a separate window. However, when I click this button, I get the following error message:
Cannot Open Page
This page cannot be opened because of a error.
The error is "A server with the specified hostname could not be found." (-1003).
The odd thing is that another button in the second article that links to the exact same URL *does* work correctly. That article does not use scrollable frames; instead, the button is on top of an image sequence. I have very carefully copied and pasted the URL from the button that does work to the button that does not work. No joy.

It happened to me too and the only workaround was that I copied the hyperlink text and created a separated text box and pasted the link.
I then made that textbox "fot frame to content". After that I created a button out of it and assigned the URL for it. After all this I pasted the button in the text as text object.

Remove Labeled Frame Not Working

Perhaps you should just tell what your code is supposed to be. I can only see it's not Javascript.

That can mean anything. Why doesn't it work for you? Does it work for others? Does it work at all? Does it even compile?

Picture Frame not working

my picture frame is not working - when It's on dissolve and I turn it on, nothing happens. when set to origami, the page is blank. i can see the motions, but no photos. I have ensured that actual photos are selected, but it's not working.

A few things to try:
1) Hold sleep and home buttons until the shutdown screen appears. Slide to power off. Then press the sleep button to restart the ipad.
2) If that doesn't work, try a reset, but make sure you have sync'ed just prior to the reset. To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings. Warning: This will delete all data on the ipad.

Mouse Forward/Back Button - Frames not Working

FireFox 4 - The mouse back button (programmed Alt/left arrow + Alt/right arrow) does not support browser window with split panes - multiple scrolling window panes. The front/back mouse buttons works with the left window pane, but not the right frame does not work. This worked in previous version.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
*Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Crop images to frame not working?

I searched the forums for this, but did not find a thread that directly addressed this issue. When I export pdfs from InDesign CC(2014), and use the setting "crop image data to frames" checked on, but do not otherwise downsample or compress the images, the images are NOT cropped to the frame edges. I found this out with the "edit in Photoshop" from the tools in Acrobat Pro (XI). I have not tested with other settings for downsampling, as I don't want to downsample these images. These particular images are scans from a copier/printer - bitmap images. I understand that it does not work on vector data, but this is not vector.

Do You have to use "crop" or can You use "canvas size"? It's easily doable with a small script. Something like this

Copy the content, and paste it in a document with a text editor. Save the document as "MaxCanvas.jsx", and run it via "File -> Scripts" in Photoshop; or via an action or "whatever". Works like a charm but i only tested in Photoshop CC on Maverics.

URGENT help for calling a window from a flash button in a frame not working

AS3 Timer to change frames not working correctly. PLS help

HI I am having a big of trouble with this code to change frames on my timeline. I thought my code below would work fine but its not. For some reason it will go to frames 1-4 (4 is the last frame) then it will go back to 1 again just fine as its supposed to... but then will jump to 3 then back to 1... all random instead of staying in sync. I have attached both my as2 version and my as3 version. My as 2 is working perfectly. I can define the amount of time a frame will pause for on each frame. ... the as3 though I am having no luck. Any help or advice would be appretiated! Thank you

any chance you could help me solve the next task of defining the amount of time each frame will pause on each frame. In my action scrip 2 code I could put timerFunctioName(5000); and it would pause only that frame for that amount of time and I was able to put different time pauses on each frame in this way.

Scrollable frame not working, why?

I did exactly what is instructed, grab the images and text and group them, create a frame then paste into that frame. Once I do all that the scrollable option is still greyed out, Why? someone help please!! thank you.
PS- I have CC and have the latest update.

Every now and again I've seen this happen. Try cutting content out of the frame and pasting it into a new one.
If that doesn't work, make very sure you have the container frame selected, not one of the content frames.

Logic X movie frame not working correctly

Hi,
I'm using Logic X to score to picture.
Whenever I drag the timline/playhead back or forward in the arrange window, the movie seems to freeze then skip a few frames - it's not displaying all the frames,
The result is that I can't score accurately, I'm just guessing as the where specific sync points are.
Anyone else having this problem?

I've had a Logic X app update which I dutifully performed.
I've just loaded up my first project of 2014...and..
I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY HAVEN"T SORTED THE MOVIE PROBLEM OUT!!!!
Apologies for shouting, but my movie is lagging and now gets stuck unless I close down and re-load? Don't they listen at Apple?
Is all this gear meant for kids playing about, or is it for serious working musicians.
So had it with Apple!
NO...I'm not buying a new Mac Pro; because Apple cannot be trusted to produce serious professional products.

Export vertical oriented movie single frame - not working

Using:
- iMac 20" 2 GHz 4 GB RAM
- OSX10.5.8
- iPhoto 8 version 7.1.5 (378)
- QuickTime Player Pro Version 7.6.9 (1680.8)
- Preview 4.2 (469.5)
Here is what I do to export a frame from a move in iPhoto to get a single frame:
Open and play a video in iPhoto using Quicktime Pro, stoping and selecting a particular frame, pressing Command C, open Preview, select New From Clipboard.
or
Open and play a video in iPhoto using Quicktime Pro, stoping and selecting a particular frame, Selecting File Export Move to Picture.
Both the above work for horizontal oriented movies.
However, for vertically oriented movies neigther works.
Movies are taken with:
- iPhone 3GS
- Exaxti CG6
- Insignia NS-DSC7B09
- Fujifilm Finepix XP20.
Any solutions/suggestions (except upgrading to the newest iPhoto, Lion, etc. too slow on a 2 GHz iMac)

I mentioned in the second part of my initial post that I did also try the export "Movie to Picture" with the same results.
Strange! That work flow still works on my PPC platform. (Unfortunately, I don't have an Intel platform available with OS 10.5.8 installed for testing.)
Am I able to have "MPEG Streamclip" open as the default when a movie is double clicked on in iPhoto instead of Quicktime opening the movie?
Not sure. I don't use iPhoto (prefer Aperture) normally and definitely would not use either for video clip management. Try resetting the double-click external edit switch or reset the "Open With" atribute for the class of movies being edited.
This actually for a novice user who I suggested take short video clips, pick a frame then copy/paste it into Preview instead of taking stills. Unfortunatly my advice fails when the iPhone photos are taken vertically.
The problem may be based on a change on the application being use. Like anamorphic videos with contain both pixel dimensions and PAR values, the reoriented videos may contain both true orientation and display orientation information. How the files work may depend on the application being used at the time. I.e., some third-party video/still display apps rely on the original orientation while others use the "rotated" info embedded in the file. And, unfortunately, it appears that Preview does not know what to do, so it does nothing. My guess is this is a bug that needs to be reported in feedback to Apple again and again until until they decide to address and correct the Preview application.

DW8 flash button target frame not working

I'm using DW8 v8.0.2 on Windows XP Home Edition SP1. I have
created a frameset by doing the following:
- Select File>New from menu bar
- Select Framesets category
- Select Fixed Top, Nested Left in Framesets column
- Select Create
Then, I add a Flash Button in the leftFrame and target the
mainFrame by doing the following:
- Select Insert>Media>Flash Button on menu bar
- Select Blip Arrow
- Set text to Information
- Set Size to 12
- Select my information.htm file from Browse button of Link
box
- Select mainFrame from Target box drop-down list
- Enter information.swf as filename in Save as box
- Select OK
Then, I select File>Save All
When I preview in a browser, I select the button & the
content opens in a new browser window instead of the mainFrame
frame. The same happens if I select leftFrame as target. However,
_top, _self, _parent, and _blank seem to work well. I renamed
mainFrame to contentFrame & it made no difference. I tried it
in IE and Netscape, no difference, except Netscape is a lot faster.
Tried text links to do the same thing & they work fine.
Tried other flash buttons and they behave the same as Blip Arrow
button.
Saw several discussions on web & in this forum, but no
solutions. Searched Knowledgebase, no solutions.
Saw some attempts at solutions dealing with button code, but
DW8 creates .swf file & button code is not editable.
Is there a solution to this problem?

I've encountered the same problem. This can't possibly be a
bug ... it's too common a function. I've noticed there has been no
reply to your posting. Have you figured out the solution from
another source?

Set Poster Frame not working

I can't set poster frames in bin icon view using command-P, nothing sticks... anyone else experiencing this? PPro CC 7.2.1 & OS X 10.9.1

I'm not clear on how Poster Frames are supposed to work here. The image you see for the clip in icon mode is the frame the clip's playhead is on. It's the first frame by default, but when you play through a clip in the bin, which you'd need to do to choose a Poster Frame, it stays on that frame anyway until you move the clips playhead. So...you end up with the same result.
But even if a Poster Frame could be set, does that mean you can no longer play through the clip in the bin because it's always showing that Poster Frame? I don't understand the purpose of that. And if you can still play the clip in the bin, then what use a Poster Frame if it doesn't always show that?
I'm missing something.

Button in Scrollable Frame not working

Hey, I read lots of other questions concerning this topic but could'nt find a sollution
I am working with CS5.5 and the newest version of the Folio producer. I have a page witz a Video, some buttons and a scrollable Frame where are some pictures inside. These pictures ae grouped together and then anchored inside of the frame. Scrolling these images works fine, but when convert the pictures into Buttons and and link them to a random website nothing happens when I click them.
Is it only possible to test this on the iPad? At this moment I can only test in the Content Viewer Deskop Application. I have already tried everything...putting layers to the front or background, defining the pictures as Buttons before or after putting them into the scrollable frame...nothing is changing...
Now I am despairing a bit. Hope somebody can help me!

Yes yes, I know. But makes it a difference with this issue? Problem is: I have the iPad I use for testing only from while to while and I dont get it back before monday. Not a very good starting point to build a folio, I know...
