I get 3 hands instead of a arrow pointer when I try the picture

If your on windows, your system font size might be set to something other than default, which can cause cursor problems.
The following pertains to missing menus in the organizer, but the directions for setting the system font size are correct:

Lightroom 5 Help says that to change the size of filmstrip thumbnails: "Place pointer over top edge of filmstrip; when pointer changes to doublearrow, drag the filmstrip edge up or down."  However I never get a double arrow.  Instead I get a hand icon that allows me to drag the thumbnails to right or left.  How can I change the filmstrip thumbnail size?

It works for me. Are you sure you are hovering in the right spot? It's the dividing line between the filmstrip and the Toolbar.

  • Windows Service - While converting into decimal its takes comma instead of decimal point

    Hi,
We are converting hex value into decimal in windows service application ,  its working fine in almost all PC's except one.
When we are using same code/windows service in French PC, while converting hex value into decimal its going wrong ( Ex : 1256,8904 instead of 1256.8904 )  that's is instead of decimal point takes comma. We executed same code in sample win
form on same PC its working fine.
actual value is "1256.8904" but its converting into "1256,8904". Can you please give me some idea how to resolve this.

  • Not worth $130! Get iLife '08 instead!

Not worth $130! Get iLife '08 instead! Seriously, what's the point, you get next to nothing for $130. Yeah, time machine is great, but you have to spend another $100 for an external hard-drive. I love Macs, but I am very disappointed with Leopard...

The ranting here is really about how Leopard didn't come with iLife08, and how it didn't update those programs associated with iLife08. Even though it was never stated by Apple or any press releases that Leopard would update those programs. That is why they released iLife08 way before Leopard.

    Hi experts,
    Thanks for the reply.
After doing changes in OBA5 & SM30,in GL of all accounts we have put tick under open item management. But in case of two GLs where we have found balances and later we made said GL balance to Zero. But when we try to put tick in FS00 of said GLs and we want to save it,following errors shown in FS00:
You cannot change the open item management setting; (see long text)
    Message no. FH087
    Diagnosis
This account does not balance to zero.
    System Response
You cannot switch the open item management specification on or off with this transaction.
    Procedure
If you want to switch this function on retroactively for a certain account, you should create a new account with the correct setting and use this to make a transfer posting of existing items.
If you want to switch off the open item management function retroactively for an account, you must first clear all the postings currently on this account. You cannot make any changes to the account management method until this is done.
    Please advise.

  • When I turn on my computer I get the message APPLESyncNotifer.exe   Entry Point not found.

Have a 5th generation nano and when I connect to my computer I get a message APPLESyncNotifer.exe  Entry Point Not Found. Not a computer geek so I am stumped. Anyone out there who could help? I have reinstalled ITunes and restarted my computer to not avail.

Copying & pasting SQLIte3.dll worked out well for your computer?
Just read your trouble with your iPod nano 5th generation & Windows PC, how about trying the one I found on this community before?
Click the start button and type in 'msconfig' in search, and, in system structure utitily, click on the tab of 'startup' and check off the box of 'AppleSyncnotifier.exe' and reboost your system.(You have to follow down till the end of the place of the file.) That'll solve your trouble.
I don't know you connect iPad or iPhone at all, that may change the solution? Hoping this suggestion also work out for you & your PC.

I have a Mac computer and am trying to use a Photoshop CS4 program, but after accessing my desktop files through Adobe Bridge and clicking twice on any of the pictures to get into Photoshop, instead of entering photoshop, I get on the lefthand side an enlarged version of the picture with red, yellow and green buttons on top. Any suggestions on what is wrong, or what can be corrected ?

And there is the problem. Your pictures are opening up in Mac's own Preview app.
Do you want all your jpegs to open in Photoshop, or only when you are in Bridge?
Selecting a program to open a certain file is called: File Type Association.
You can choose this at the MacOS level or the Bridge level.
    Here's how to do both:
Either MacOS or Bridge has the wrong app associated with the jpeg. Let's start with MacOS
Close Bridge and Preview. Select one of your jpegs, and press Cmd i, That will bring up the file info window.
Go down to the "Open with" section of File Info.
Choose Photoshop CS4 and click on the Change All... button to apply this choice to every jpeg on your Mac.
Then open Bridge and see if double-clicking opens it in Photoshop.
Now that means all jpegs on your Mac will open in Photoshop.  Maybe you don't want that.
You can set your jpegs to open in Preview when Bridge is closed.
When you open Bridge, there is Preferences > File Type Associations where you can direct Bridge to open the jpegs in Photoshop when you are viewing in Bridge.

I updated iTunes today (Windows).  I restarted the computer but when I tried to launch, I get the message, ""The procedure entry point AVCFURLAssetInheritURIQueryComponentFromReferencingURIKey could not be located in the dynamic link library AVFoundationCF.dll".
I then did a new install of the latest iTunes version and got the same problem.   No more iTunes.
    HELP!!!

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I can't paste from the clipboard. I move the paste icon to the toolbar and get support.mozilla instead. If I clip on this the paste function is not available

I have my Time Capsule set up and can access it remotely, however, I cannot copy anything to the TC disk from my desktop.
Sorry but do you mean you cannot copy from local LAN to the TC, or from a remote location to the TC.
What OS is on the computer.. it is a common issue with Mavericks.. where the networking giants have gone back to tin cans and string.
I recommend a full reset of the TC to factory.
Change all naming to SMB type.. it is so important now with Mavericks which is SMB by default.
SMB uses names that are short.. <10characters is great.. keep it less than 20 max.
    No spaces.
    Pure alphanumeric.
ie when apple setup suggests a name like
Fred Blog's Airport Time Capsule.. it breaks every rule. It is over long.. has spaces and illegal character.
So change all names.. eg TCgen4 (replace number with actual Gen if you like.. or just name it TC).
Call wireless TCwifi (or TC24ghz and TC5ghz if you want separate naming for the bands).
Then in finder.. use Go, Connect to server.
    Type in
AFP://TCname  (where TCname is whatever you have now named your TC compliant with the rules above)
    If that fails
AFP://TCname.local (Mavericks gets domain name issues.. it needs the domain and is local by default.)
    or
AFP://TCIPaddress. eg AFP://10.0.1.1 which is router address by default.. only use if the ip is static.
The computer will hopefully discover the resource and now you can type in your password.. public by default.. or whatever you changed it to.
Now try copying files to the TC.

  • People are getting my email instead of contact name?

Not sure if there is a way around it or not, but whenever I start up a conversation through text on my iPad and I haven't previously had a conversation going for it to show up on my iPad, people get my email address instead of my number which would be in their contacts with my name. So essentially they'll ask who this is, I'll explain and I say to merge the two contacts. Just that is a hassl, is there a way around this at all?
Under messages in the settings, under Send & Receive it has my email address which I can remove if I want, would that get rid of my email address when I send a text and they would supposedly be getting a text thru my email instead of my contact number? On both my iPhone and iPad I have that email under Send & Receive, if I deleted it would people stop getting my email address for a text or FaceTime (also happens for FaceTime) and just get my number instead (and if my number is in their contacts practically my name)?
I Just got a new iPhone a few weeks ago and haven't been experimenting heavily until the holidays now. Plus I got a iPad a few days ago. So that's why I've been getting these problems.
On another note, if it helps at all, my iPad has cellular for AT&T.

    Does anyone know at all?

  • How can I get CDP neighbor information from access point reports in Cisco Prime 2.0

How can I get CDP neighbor information from access point reports in Cisco Prime 2.0?  I have looked through all the reports and I cannot find a report that gives me the CDP neighbor information of an access point.  I thought that information was in there, however I cannot seem to find it.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi
You can get this from an inventory report in PI (Select Report Type AP). Here is an example of PI 2.1 works for me. Once you export this into excel you can sort based on controllers & filter the single controller connected AP you want.

  • HT4623 started my IOS 7 update and I am now getting a message with a charger pointing toward ITUNES-what does this mean?

I started the update for IOS 7 and now I am getting a message with a charger pointing to I Tunes, I try to turn my phone off and the same message comes up. Not sure if this is part of the updating process, or if my phone is damaged. Has anyone out there experienced the same problem before, and if so, how did you fix it?

the-edmeister, you are a genious. I went to "view" then "toolbars" and de-selected "yahoo toolbar" and then moved the curser over my firefox page and it now works completely including the problem area (the top 3 cm of each screen). Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. You have no idea how good I feel know on this otherwise cold, windy and rainy day.
