I get a BSOD whenever I watch a video stream and try to do something else

So I bought myself a new computer a few days ago and since that day, I've already experienced 5 or 6 BSODs when using Firefox. Whenever I'm watching a video stream or YouTube and I open a GPU-related application like Asus GPU Tweak, I hear buzzing in my headphones and the screen freezes so that the only solution is hard reset or I get a BSOD. Same happens when I open multiple video-related sites with a plugin running on each (seems to be irrelevant if it's flash- or HTML5-based). I am sure it's Firefox related because I've been able to recreate this bug every time by opening a stream in one tab, any other page in the other and then starting the app - freeze every time. On Chrome, for example, this problem doesn't happen, though. As for the plugins, I use Pocket, Lazarus and Reddit Enhancement Suite. What may be causing the problem? I checked both with hardware acceleration turned on and off.
My info, if it's of any importance:
Asus R9 290, Windows 7, newest Firefox, 2560x1080 resolution.

-- is that a completely unrelated application outside of Firefox, or something in another Firefox window or tab?
If you have not already tried disabling the protected mode feature of the Flash plugin, the following pages/posts provide different ways to do that:

Flash needs to completely unload from memory (restarting Firefox might help) before this would take effect.

Disable ALL security software (firewall, antivirus/spyware, etc.) running on your PC while updating.

When I sync my phone it gets to step 6 the does not complete the sync i get a message that says itunes has stopped working and needs to close anyone else have this issue

The same problem here!... My itunes stucks on "preparing to sync" when sync my ipad 2, and stucks on iphone 4 calendar sync...
Any solution?? Need help, please!!

Downloaded a trial version of the "Living Earth Desktop" screensaver and cannot get rid of it. I deleted the download and cannot find it anywhere else on my mac. I will change the desktop image and the living earth image will pop back up minutes later.

If you don't know the exact file name, you may have to redownload it so you can see it.
I would also try doing a reboot after you change your desktop background to what you want.

use it on a diffrent network if u dont have a mc donalds or sone other place to test it most librarys have wifi just to make sure its not that if its not the wifi falut and the app has been re installed may be a bug since this game is still pretty new

Watching online video's and snow leopard

i use to watch online videos like smallville and son's of anarchy. but ever since i installed the new snow leopard. i cant watch any tv show online (ie- fx, cw channels). i can still watch youtube. i searched the first 38 forum pages to see if anyone else is having this same problem.

I seem to have the same issue that Viking is having. This issue is really frustating the **** out of me. I've got two identical iMac's that had the hard drives wiped clean. Installed a fresh copy of SL, did all the Apple updates so I'm at SL 10.6.1. Installed Flip4Mac 2.3.0.14, Perian 1.1.4, QT7 and I still can't get any streaming video/audio (ASX, ASF, WMV, etc) to play through either Safari or Firefox. All it does is show a blank window where the video should be or the asx page just sits there loading.
I've read through hundreds of posts about this issue and can't find a solution, everything just says to install flip4mac and it should work. I've downloaded WMV, MPG, AVI files to the desktop and they play just fine in VLC player. All the QT trailers on Apple's site play just fine in the browser as well. Flash sites like youtube work just fine too. These are not Realmedia sites. I've tried it with only Flip4Mac installed without anything else and have the same problem. No firewalls are on either. All the Flip plugins seem to be installed correctly in the Safari plugins list.
Can anyone please give me some suggestions to try? I'm a recent Mac convert from the PC and can't believe that it would be this difficult to get something working that always worked on the PC.

I take it that this is on an Ipad. I had just about the same problem, you could reset your password, but then again, you must apply the new password in the ITune's Store. Tap settings, "about" to check your firmware. Also to set the new password for the Store, tap Settings, Store, then tap Apple ID: a small pop up will show, here tap View Apple ID and input your new password.

yeah dude ! same happened with me before but now it's been solved out with upgrading to latest version of Flash player so you have to make sure that you using latest version as well :(

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. The Firefox cache temporarily stores images, scripts, and other parts of websites while you are browsing.
Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies, do the following:
# Tap the menu icon located at the top right corner. This is the icon with 3 bars. On older Android devices you'll have to press the hardware menu key and then tap More.
# Tap Settings.
# After that, you will be taken to the settings screen. In the settings screen, look under the section Privacy & Security and select Clear private data.
# You will then be taken to a list of what can be cleared. Select the following 2 for deletion:
* Cookies & active logins
* Cache
After those have been selected, tap the Clear data button to actually clear the cache and cookies.

ITunes begins to play video/music whenever I watch YouTube video on iMac.

Has anyone else had this issue? I would really like to stop it as it is very distracting.

Try clearing the Cache in Firefox.
Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
or
Tools->Options->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
Youtube may have made some changes recently. Clear the Youtube cookie and refresh page if above does not do it.
