I get a dialog box from Xmarks that "Firefox service initalization failed". Please advise.

The Xmarks icon shows a question mark and a shows "Xmarks has encountered an error''. On clicking the icon the Xmarks settings dialog box shows the current status as PROBLEMS SYNCING "Firefox service initialization failed" and that "Firefox reports that some services are unavailable".
Please advise action to take.

Yoono. I uninstalled Yoono and the problem went away. However, it does seem like a nice application since it brings all your social networks together in a column on the left side of the screen that are active while you can be doing something else like searching the web or reading your e-mail. When I'm in e-mail however, I want a fuller screen and when I try to collapse the Yoono column, I get that warning message and it won't allow me to.

I've developed the problem that when I click on something I get a dialog box with a mess of stuff such as: Back,re;oad page ,Open in dashboard ,print page, etc. It's quite annoying!

I can drag the dialog box, but I can't move it up far enough to get to the eject card button. The dialogue box contains all the jpeg Numbers I am trying to upload. It has never done that before. It used to be just a smal dialogue box with no jpeg numbers in it.

I get a dialog box to allow a cookie from Yahoo mail but it does not respond and locks up the entire browser. All other sites work fine.

The sign in page for yahoo mail wants to set cookies. I get a dialog box that asks to set a second cookie but it is unresponsive, eitehr to check allow or close it. Going to task manage says the site is waiting for input from me but I cannot get the browser to respond in any manner whatsoever.

Why doesn't firefox close out when I'm done with it and close it; when next I try to open firefox again I get a dialog box telling me firefox is open and to close it or restart my computer? I'm tired of doing that one of more times a day.

My home page is FoxNews.com and if I leave it up overnight or for longer periods during the day firefox doesn't allow the refresh of the home page it just goes to yahoo 404--error can't find the webpage. One situation in which Command+w or Ctrl+w might not work is if the "focus" is in a plugin such as the Flash player used on Youtube after you interact with the player controls. Firefox will continue to send the keyboard input to the plugin until you move the focus back to the page. Does that account for any of the problem?

I no longer get the dialog box when trying to delete rejected photos.

I have always used the Delete Rejected Photos. . . selection to get rid of the photos I have flagged as rejected. However, after the rejected photos are shown, the dialog box no longer appears with the option to Delete from Disc or to Remove from the LR Catalog. I don't know if this problem began with LR 3.4 or before, but the timing was close. It isn't that I don't know how to use the function because I have been using it for years. Any help would be appreciated.

Since I had 358 photos out of almost 2800 flagged as 'rejected' I did not
want to loose all my work. I selected the rejected photos and then flagged
them all with a 'yellow' color. I then displayed all photos with a yellow
flag and 'Un-rejected' them. I highlighted a small amount of them, about 30,
and rejected them and then went to the Delete Rejected photos. the pop-up
came up and I was able to delete them. Since the rest of my yellow flagged
photos were still showing I rejected another chunk of them and so on till
they were all deleted. When trying to delete a group that had published
photos within I got a box warning me that if I deleted them the published
ones could no longer be managed by LR. That is alright with me. It would be
nice if the software would somehow flag those that had been published. All
the dialog box said was that one or more of the group had been published. I
did not know which.

When I try to add an RSS or Atom feed, I get a dialog box with Open or Save instead of adding the feed to NewsFox like it used to do.

With Firefox 4.x, when I added a feed, it would open NewsFox in a new tab, and bring up a dialog box with info about that feed. I would click on "test this feed" and it would put all available items into NewsFox. Now, I get this dialog box with Open or Save. If I click on Open (declaring Firefox as the preferred app), then it opens the feed itself, it doesn't add it to NewsFox. I've tried going into Options and about:config but don't see anything to change that would fix this problem. I tried Search in Firefox Help but no relevant threads came up.
