I get a message that says acrobat is unable to connect to your email program

I all of a sudden cant get my pdf file to email. Always worked before thru my outlook. Anyone have any suggestions?

You get that message any time you download an executable file. It is safe to open as long as you download from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

I recently purchased a year long lightroom license and when I try to install it I get a message that says Trial ended. How to I install the program or add a license number? Where would I find my license number?

I had a month long trial of Lightroom and I decided to purchase a prepaid 12month Lightroom/Creative Cloud license. When I uninstall Lightroom and then reinstall it, I get a message that says trial ended with the option to 'buy'. Hi, can you use gmail as an email client when posting a file?
says it is unable to connect, is there a way around this? i have 20 files to different people to post each with a individual sticky onit, and saving each file then uploading would be a pain

To Reset Firefox do the following:

#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I can't update my software. i keep getting a message that says " can't update software, connection reset by peer"

For two weeks now, everytime my computer tries to update the software (OS X etc) is says the update can't be installed and that the "connection has been reset by peer". Other software such as Adobe Reader updates fine. What does this mean?

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

Acrobat is unable to connect to my email program. I've tried several fixes, but fail.

I think the subject says it all. I have Acrobat Pro 9, and it used to work before my computer crashed, had to re-format the HD, re-install the operating system (Win 7 Pro 64bit) and re-install my Acrobat 9. I tried all the "association" procedures.
Oh, and my default email client is, and has always been, Thunderbird.

Looking at the patch installer link you gave me, there are 25 folders, and anywhere from one to four patches in each one. So that means I'd have to download and install over 30 patches? In the first patch folder, there are four--so I'd have to install each of the four, in their date order?
And what about the three sitting outside these folders, at the bottom of the list (one .msi, one .zip and 'elevator.exe' in the 'common' folder?

Is there something wrong with this version? the pdf was created in 2004. Do I have to pay to get Acrobat?

Let me give you a slightly different perspective than everyone else here. You are using an unsecured wireless network, which means that all your network traffic is easily available for viewing by anyone else using that network. That's bad. Very bad, for you, unless you absolutely trust everyone who lives within range of this network. So stop doing it.
As to the Mac not connecting, wireless networking is simply too complex for any reasonable answer without more information. There are many possible error points, and as often as not it's the Mac that can connect and the Windows PC that cannot. Since you can't give us any information about the configuration of the neighbor's network, and can't make any changes to it, we can't do much to help you troubleshoot it.

It sounds like the cellular data will not activate for some reason on the iPad.
I found this article that will help you resolve this issue here, named iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular Models): Troubleshooting a cellular data connection, found here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4249
Check for a carrier settings update.
Update your iPad.
Toggle the Cellular Data setting off and on under Settings > Cellular Data.
Restart your iPad.
Tap Settings > General > About. Locate the Carrier entry and make sure that your carrier is correct.
If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try turning it off: Tap Settings > Cellular Data > SIM PIN.
Make sure you're in an area of good coverage. If the cellular data connection works in another area, contact your carrier to report the original affected area.
Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Restore the iPad as new.
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store, contact your carrier, or contact AppleCare to troubleshoot further.
I know you may have done one or two of the steps here, so you can skip those.

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.

Resolution
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your device, then syncing again to solve this issue.
Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device. To resolve this issue:
1. Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
2. Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
3. Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
4. Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes.
          - If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 5.
5. Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device. To do this:
          - Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
          - Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.

          - Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 6.
