I get a message when going to any webpage "server not found" or "problem loading page". I click on try again and the page loads fine. This happens on bookmarked pages or manually entered urls. The issues started after I updated Firefox.
Server not found messages and problem loading page message since I updated to the latest version of Firefox. Usually will load the 2nd time after hitting the try again option.
Does not happen with Internet Explorer at all.

When I repair disk permissions using Disk Utility and it says it's completed the task, I click on it again and it repairs more. This has been going on for hours now. Could there be that many wrong permissions? Should it get to "all repaired" eventually?
It's normal behavior. You don't have to worry about. Most of what's listed is just a report of what the utility finds., not necessarily that there is omething wrong.

Each time I start up my computer and have my iPhone plugged in, I get a message window that eads "New Wave" file not found in your files....How do I get this file I am missing?
Hey Podieboy,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are receiving a message about missing files when you start iTunes. The following resource may provide more information:

If the file/song is not important, you can simply delete it from your library to avoid this error message in the future:

I get the following message when trying to connect to firefox:
"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I have to click on "try again" and then it connects.Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

i want to change the country from USA to EGYPT in the itunes but i get a message saying, u have remaining balance which is 0.44 USD, how can i find some thing for 0.44 USD to spend this sum so i can switch my account to the right store??
Buy something for more than the balance and charge the remainder to a credit card, or write Apple and ask them to keep the balance.

After downloading the latest version of iTunes and updating my iPhone, everytime I turn on my computer I receive a message that reads: "AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite.dll" Help! Does anybody know what this means and how I can fix it? Thanks.
Yes. I just solved the problem on my PC. Here goes...
Issue: My Windows7 computer was producing the pop up box with the error text as you described.
The Problem: You have another application on your computer that uses the like named .DLL file... in this case a DLL supporting SQLite on your local PC.
Solution:
1. You need to use the Windows File search feature to look for the name "SQLite". This will quickly locate the offending DLL in the other application.
2. Decide which program you like the most, in my case "Mobile Me", and uninstall the offending application.
3. Uninstall Mobile Me.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Reinstall Mobile Me.
6. Mobile Me should sync at this point, but if not, restart the PC once again.
In my case, the offending program was my Aptana Studio development application. I had recently the SQLite3 database to my Ruby On Rails configuration...
This is where the file was located:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Aptana Studio 2.0\plugins\com.aptana.radrails.sqlite3.win32_3.5.7.1278709071\vendor\SQLite3.d ll
I hope this helps,

Hi, ever since I was prompted to download the new Firefox 4, I have continuously been having this issue. I will type in a domain name and it will automatically prompt me to "server not found". The websites work fine on Safari and Google Chrome, but not firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox about 4 times and I really need a solution!
Also, I have done all of the IPv4, Cache, and other solutions listed in the article on having certain sites not load. I'd appreciate some help! Thanks!Did you ever fix this, because I am having the same problem

Since updating to 10.4 I've been getting this error message on computer startup
'AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll.'.
Please help me fix this annoying problem?
belleThis is the fix I got from discussions and it worked for me. It is copied below. I just did the manual fix which I have underlined. Good luck! Regards, Belle.
This can occur because libmxl2.dll is not in your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support folder.
There have been some issues with this and other dlls not being in the right place (or not being everywhere they should be) since the 10.3.1.55 iTunes update.
However, I note that the 10.4 iTunes update is now out - surprisingly quickly - so try installing that, rebooting, and see if your issue is solved.
If it isn't, though, here's the manual fix:-
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the libmxl2.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well.
I actually had the issue with SQLite3.dll, and the above fix worked for me (I found it in an April 2010 posting!).
I passed on the fix as above for the similar issue with libmxl2.dll to someone who had exactly your problem, and he reported that it fixed it for him. -

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -
Prior to a couple weeks ago when I clicked on the Fire Fox icon on my MacBook air it went directly to the Fire fox home page. Now when my computer has been off and I choose the Fire Fox icon, I get a message that Fire Fox is in "offline" mode. I then click the box "try again" it always comes up as usual. What can I do to get away from that "offline" message? I do not have the same problem with my desktop iMac.

I am using Firefox 6.0.2. I use Yahoo for e-mail. Recently, I always have issues when trying to use Yahoo contacts. They are not available when composing an e-mail. Is this a compatibility issue w/ Firefox 6.0.2 & Yahoo Mail Plus?
Thanks.
Terri TaylorI have no access to my Yahoo contacts. I cannot search or browse them. The only way I can get ONE is by adding the contact from an email. Then, if I ask to see more contacts either through the partial alphabet buttons or to see the entire list of contacts, I'm back to the same search page where NOTHING happens. Did I say this is VERY frustrating?? HELP

I have successfully imported a Pages document from my (new) iPad but it will not open because it tells me that "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document".
I have Pages '08 3.0.3. Am trying to Download an Upgrade but get a message saying "an eligible Keynote application was not found in the location/Applications/iWork '09".
What to do?Go to the App Store in your Applications folder, not in a browser, and search for 'Pages':
Click on the price to buy immediately (there is no 'basket') - the credit card you have registered with iTunes will be charged. Or click on the icon for an information page:
Again, click on the price to buy immediately - note that you get no 'are you sure', the purchase is immediate and not cancellable. -
