I get a "waiting" message under the icon when I try to download an app
This is a new iPad that has not been connected to another computer. I was able to download 2 apps but no more. Now they all say "waiting" Any suggestions?
I have the same issue in my new 4S. Looking for insights.

I am trying to download the facebook app for my iPad, but when I do I get a message telling me that I don't have enough local storage. The settings screen tels me that I have 4.9GB of available local storage. What am I doing wrong?

hope yu can help!! when i try to download an app from the store, on my iphone 4s..the app goes to waiting, or paused(if i tap on it)
and i get a message that says one of two things; cannot download app at the time, or could not download (ex.) Facebook.app at this time.

After a trip to Brazil, the App Store apparently thinks my iPad 2 is still there. When I try to download an app, I get a message that I can't get that app from the Brazilian store and have to switch to the U.S. store. The general settings are correct. I apparently need to switch locations manually, specifically for the App Store. Help?
Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.

My iPad won't let me sign into my Apple ID when I try and download an app it asks for my id and password and when i type it in the iPad displays a message saying cannot connect to iTunes Store. However when i do this on my phone it works perfectly. Even when i sign in and out.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so how can I fix this?Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
When I try and download an app, I get a message "MZCommerce.CreditBalanceMismatch.Mobile_message". This is even for free apps, and I do have plenty of credit. Can anyone help please?
With a standard account you need a valid payment method even for free apps.
From the message it sound like there is something wrong with your account or some of the information you entered in the account is not correct.. Verify that the information is correct and then if still problem contact iTunes.

Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to default on Windows. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -

I am English but I live in Spain. when I try to download an app now, as well as my password i get asked to complete a security question from a list. The problem is the list is in Spanish. How can I turn this additional security off.
