I get an error message which disapears immediately. Does this sound familiar?

Hi all!
I use my macbook pro(mid 2010, 10.7.3) alot. Probably 7 hours a day, 7 days a week.
From time to time I get a popup with an error message which disapears immdiately. I can't even read what it says, it's just a flicker in my screen. I do notice the yellow rectangle on the left of the errormessage but I have no idea what it says.
It probably shows up about twice a week and I have no idea what is wrong and what I can do about this. Restarting didn't fix it.
So my question, had anyone had this in the past? Is it bad and fixable? And above all, what does it say??

I sometimes had the OSX firewall trying to ask me whether this or that application shall be allowed to accept incoming internet connections. I constantly missed the "window of opportunity" to hit the apprpriate button.
This was a bug as the window always came up regardless of whether or not a setting for the application in question had already been made within the firewall.
Haven't seen the bug for quite a while yet, might have ceased with Lion in my case.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

The profile on the MAC server has been deleted and the iPad has been erased and reset to default. I need to be able to get Configurator to recognize this device to prepare it for deployment and issue Apps to it. Please help!!

Run the application 'Terminal.app' which you will find in '/Applications/Utilities' on your Macintosh.
Type this into it: defaults delete com.apple.configurator PreprationSavedPolicyDefaultsKey
Hit the return key.
If you get no error message, it worked, and you can quit the app.

I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.

This can occur if you bought the machine used and iLife was reinstalled with another AppleID.
This also can occur if the "free apps" you downloaded have paid upgraded versions and/or are now payware and you can't get updates.
All software from MAS is copy protected, it might be free as in "no charge" but it's not free in the sense you can share it with others.

I have never experienced this issue, but if you can't find anything that helps on the site that Philly suggested, I have read that this has worked for that error code.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data or Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

The fix for this is supposed to be resetting the system clock to automatic time, but this, as we've seen, more often than not fails to work. After a bit of an email exchange between Apple support and myself I discovered the true fix for this issue, or at least, the one that they said to use and that worked for me.
After resetting your clock go to the folder /Users/Shared in Finder and delete the folder "SC Info". This is a hidden folder, so the way you will need to get it to appear is to use the go to folder command (Shift + Command + G) and type in /Users/Shared/SC Info and hit enter. Change to the column view and you'll be able to see the folder there. Move it to the trash and it will go away, and take your problems with it. Restart the computer for the deletion to take effect and then reauthorize your itunes. Should play your rentals after that.
