I get an error when Imessage trying to update IOS on C2940

When I try to update the IOS from 12.1(13)AY to 12.1(22)EA4 using CNA I get an error message like this: ERROR: Image requires 0x02000000 bytes of DRAM;only 0x01000000 bytes are present
I what the error message says but how do I solve the problem with the DRAM

No I have not checked the IOS version requirement but I have a similar c2940 where the upgrade was no problem.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I am also facing the same issue.
four days back, my power buttton stopped working.
Then my sim card slot stopped reading like it was stuck at gsm/cdma band.
Even without simcard it said searching..
then I changed the power button and antenna strip myself as my iphone5 is uk ee and i live in india.
Everything was fine and I booted the phone.
The power button worked like a new device... but the searching problem still remained.
I hard resetted my phone but to no vail. even Find My phone was not turning off.
then I forced my phone to recovery mode and downloaded iphone5,2 7.0.2,11A501_restore.ipsw from web and flashed it.
At the start it recognised and everything was good until the "restoring iphone firmware" was stuck at the end point.
I tried every trick on net. Even tried to downgrade.. but it was blocked.
at the last it is either stuck at firmware or itunes unknown error (3)
Please somebody help me to recover this PAPERWEIGHT to a phone again...

I've downloaded the Adobe AIR Installer, but the installer always indicates that it will update Adobe AIR

Update: 1.5.3.9130
A spotlight search for these two log files produces nothing.
I also followed your instructions here:
Double-click the Terminal application located at /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.
Type cd /Users/userName.
Type echo > .airinstall.log and/or echo > .airappinstall.log "
But terminal replies with "No such file or directory"

How are you trying to update? You can't do it with wifi. The easiest and safest way, is to open iTunes and don't connect the phone. Download the update and connect when it is complete.

I can't uninstall it, can't repair it, can't even down load from the apple site the latest version and install without it looking for this apple.msi. I tried to update the firmware, and now the Airport Utility will not even work!

Unrecoverable Error when iTunes tries to update contacts from Outlook

Has anyone else encountered this problem? In the past I have always updated my 60Gig iPod with my contact info from Outlook. I have never had a problem until today. Now when I update my iPod, all the music updates appear to download correctly, but when the process gets to the part when outlook contacts are updated, I get an unrecovereable error and iTunes shuts down. I have resolved the issue by turning off the update from Outlook. Just to make this a little more interesting, the error only appears to occur when outlook is already open. When iTunes has to open Outlook as part of the update process the error does not occur.
I have already deleted and re-installed both iTunes and quicktime from the apple website but this didn't fix the problem. Furthermore, my iPod is at the most recent firmware level. Not sure what else to do here...
I would like to report the problem to Apple, but I can't find a link to report bugs? Any suggestions?

I don't know where the report bug button is, but if you find it you should only use it if you are sure the problem is with iTunes and not Outlook. If Apple can't fix it, then they can't.
A possible fix (if you are willing to always eject) is to enable disk use and then manually move the vCards into the contacts folder.

If the update had an error, then check out the article below to restore your iPhone. It will walk you through putting your iPhone into recovery mode and then using iTunes on your computer to restore it. If you have a back up through iTunes or iCloud, then your can put that back up back on after you have completed the restore.

A gear error when i tried to update to 9 itunes

i have vista.. when i tried to uprade to 9itunes it completely destroyed my itunes.. when i tried to reinstall it it gave me an error saying """""""unable to install the GEAR driver set at this time. Mercifully, this particular error is rarer than it used to be a few years ago. I'm hoping that that means the more recent versions of the GEAR drivers are less prone to this sort of thing, and so fingers crossed this one shouldn't crop up for you again.

That's most likely a problem with a library file or a content file, Per.
I'd perhaps try a library recreation first. There's advice for both types of issues in the User-specific troubleshooting section of the following document:

It should restore from the backup. If you don't have any backup then you will lose data but what you going to do you have no other alternative so go ahead and do it.

I'm trying to update my ios from 4.1 to the newest one but each time i try to do it, I get an error message 3194, I tried to trouble shoot by turning off my virus protection as well as delete and reinstall itunes but nothing works which was suggested by the FAQ's from itunes. The last time this happened i got a replacement from apple because i was within my warenty period but now I don't have that luxury.
