If you are trying to download apps over 20MB in size, you can't do it via 3G. You can download them via WiFi.
When you go to iTunes on your computer, from the menu at the top - go to Store>Check for available downloads.

    Hello, Darktowerfan1.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Here are a couple articles that I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue.
Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

    Help

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • Getting error message during syncing with itunes

    1. Install itunes ver 10.0.1.22
    2. Get app on my PC via itunes (e.g. Prince of Persia Warrior Within Free)
    3. Connect iphone to PC
    4. Select app in itunes
    5. Apply changes (syncing with iphone)
*Actual result:* error message is displayed "The application "POP WW Free" was not installed on the iphone "Iphone_Crush" because an unknown error occurred" or "The application "POP WW Free" was not installed on the iphone "Iphone_Crush" because its resources have been modified" or "The application "POP WW Free" was not installed on the iphone "Iphone_Crush" because the application signature is not valid".
*Expected result:* app should be installed on iphone
Do you have any ideas how I can fix it?
    Thanks.

Did it many times. Was helpless for me. Tried to backed up software/firmware to default and got another error message about that itunes can't finish installation Unplugged my web camera (don't think that it can help me) and shut down zone alarm pro (brandmauer). Default OS was installed as well and syncing with itunes works as well too. But guys I can found zone alarm in software compatibility list and yes I have up to date version of zone alarm and yes I configured it with itunes. So what happens with compatibility?

  • I get error message trying to reinstall ITunes.  Error 7 (Windows Error 193), I get error message trying to reinstall ITunes.  Error 7 (Windows Error 193)

I get error 7 (windows error 193) when trying to reinstall itunes on all my devices: computer, Iphone, Ipad Air.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • Changing import setting in itunes 8 - can't find out how to do it!

I cannot work out how to change the settings relating to the size and quality of music files ripped from CD’s. The iTunes help tells me to go into the preference section and click on the advanced tab. However I Cannot see the import settings section as described. Any ideas??

If you have iTunes 8 the import settings are on the General tab of preferences.
If you have iTunes 7 it is on the Advanced>>Importing tab.
