I get multiple notifications of some posts (in digest mode)

I recently asked a question in a forum. (My subscription settings automatically subscribe me to topics which I create or post to, and they send me a digest message once a day.)
That night, I received a digest message informing me that a reply had been posted. Great! I read it. Thanks! In the next day's digest, I got another notification that the topic had been updated. I visit it, but there are no new posts. Hmmm... maybe it keeps notifying you until you view the post while logged in. So I log in and visit the same old post again. The next day, I get another notification of the post. Then again the next day... This often goes on for days (even when I'm the poster!) and then mysteriously stops.
Nor is this the first topic for which this has happened to me. The apple discussions are far less useful without notification messages, and the notification messages are far less useful when they aren't reliable! How can I make them work properly again? What's going on?

Hi Mike,
I'm afraid there is no way (yet) to make them work properly.
This is a known problem that was pointed several times already. Probably in the very first positions in the "list of priorities", among the few problems still to be fixed in the New Discussions.
FYI this happens also to those who have other kinds of subscriptions.
Personally, after a good while when I didn't bother opening them anymore, lately I even stopped subscribing all together...
I'm confident our Hosts find a solution soon, like the other fixes and enhancements that came and that we can enjoy now.

All of the sudden I don't get push notifications of group posts anymore on my iphone. I do get them on my macbook so they are turned on. I still get notifications of comments on my posts and comments on post where I commented before. I also get notification about messages I am getting but not when somebody posts something new in a group. Checked my settings and when I click on the group name on my phone the push notifications are turned on and when I edit them it says all posts and send push notifications to my mobile device is checked. In the drop down menu in settings it is checked where it says group posts and comments. In my phone settings in notifications it says notification centre on, show 10 items, banners and everything else is on. Any ideas what else to do???? This is so frustrating!

Okay. Try checking "manually manage music and videos", and then click the flippy triangle next to your device. Then select the items you want to delete and just press Delete on your keyboard.
Uncheck when you're done.

Can't get Email Notification to my Posted Topic!

Hi guys,
Anytime someone replies to my Posted Topic, I don't get an Email Notification. I used to get it! I checked my Subcription under Preferences and everything is configured correctly. I called Apple Support and they can't figure it out.
Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem?

The last time it happened it was for about three days (as I recall). When they got it working again, I received 111 emails! Not looking forward to when they get this one fixed.

Not getting email notifications for some instances

Hi,
Recently we moved our production instance to new server. Now databse agent uses virtual name and host agent uses physical name. After move Instance generates alerts in OEM but doesn't send email notification. Rest of the instances sends email alerts. Any idea?

Go to Setup -> Notification Methods. Check to ensure that the new host see "Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server"

Email notification for group posts

Not sure if this is the proper place for me to post this inquiry...
It seems that I am not getting email notifications when a post is made to a group discussion. My last email notification was Jan 6th and there were other groups that I follow that had posts from late last year that I never received a notification.

This is ok. I do want to have a watch update per email. But only when it is updated by someone not by me.
This is what change since the upgrade. Before, I was getting email ONLY when someone else was updating the thread. Now I am getting email EVEN when I am updating the thread myself

Still Receive Multiple E-Mail Notifications of New Posts When Subscribed

In days past, a user would only receive one e-mail notification of new posts to a thread to which he/she was subscribed. You would have to visit said thread before you would receive new e-mails. Sometime during the last big change in the structure of the forums, this way of e-mailing notifications changed. Now I am bombarded with a new notification each time a new post is made to a subscribed thread. I may have ten or more new e-mails just notifying me of new posts to a single thread before I even get a chance to make a return visit. The old way was much, much neater. Any chance of a return to that?

I experience it even worse.
I receive Notifications and Digests for threads that weren't changed.
I mean to say that
-I post an answer to some topic.
-Automattically I am subscribed to that Thread (that's OK, I asked for that in my settings)
-I receive lot's of Notifications and Digest ALTHOUGH NOBODY ADDED A NEW POST TO THE THREAD. It seems as if the Notification also reacts any time anybody is READING the thread.
It seems obvious to me that I only want to receive Notifications (and Digests) of Threads that are altered in some way since the last time I read the thread OR received a Notification or Digest.
That is:
- new post added to the thread
- a post has been altered by one of the posters
- a Solved or Helpfull mark is given.
Hope Apple can fix this.

=AVERAGE(A)
If you want to include blank cells as zero, type this formula in B2 (and Fill Down)
=IF(A2<>0,A2,0)
Numbers 3 will change the formula to
=IF(A2≠0,A2,0)
Yeah, right! but that is Numbers 3.
And the answer (6/4) is 1.5. Correct!

Im trying to make a poster size collage of pictures and also want to put a story in the middle of the poster. I just can't understand how to get multiple pictures and how to arrange them around the poster?

Im trying to make a postersize picture collage and I don't know how to get multiple pictues arranged. Someone said I can use the layer option. But Im just not getting it. Please help!

Click File >> Open and select all of your photos
That will add them to the project bin
Then select File >> New >> Blank File
Select background color White (or whatever you prefer) and add your width and height for your final image (set resolution 72 for web usage or 240 to 300 for printing) then click OK
In the project bin click your first photo and drag it up into the main window on top of your new background.
Click on the move tool and click in the center of the photo and drag to arrange it where you want on the background - you can hold down the shift key to maintain original proportions whilst dragging the corner handles of the bounding box to get the size you want.
Do the same with the next photo (drag it up into the main window) and use the move tool to position it. Then continue with each image.
Finally Click Layer >>Flatten image and save as jpeg. (Save as PSD if you want to preserve the layers for editing again)
N.B. as you add images they get dropped in the center. So you need to use the move tool to drag them apart. Click in the middle of one and move it around, and then the others until you get them positioned as you want.
When you click again with the move tool a bounding box appears around the image and you can drag out the corner handles to re-size your photos. Hold down the shift key when dragging the corner handle and that will maintain the proportions of the original.
Finally click Layer >>Flatten Image and save your collage - you may then want to use the crop tool to cut away any surplus white canvas, and then re-save. Click the T tool to add text.

Not able to get Email Notification even after did all the steps in MDS

I have set simple Human Workflow : If new product come, then email will go to one of the user and get the approval from that user.
For that I created 2 Entities Called Product, Product Status. I have set the Business rule like if the New product has come, then the Product status will be ' Pending for review'. And I selected one of the user in Notification Column in Business Rule Management
Page.
From back End, I have set the data base mail profile and updated the column MDMRootURL with 'My MDS URL' in tblsystemsetting table.
But Still I didnt get Email Notification. What I have missed in this process. Please help me out in this regard. Thanks!

Have you any log information regarding this issue? If so, please post the log to us for further investigation(Right click on Database Mail, and select View Database Mail Log).

I get update notifications on my iPad but cannot see them in the App Store...please help

When I click on the App Store...there are no updates available. When I get out of the App Store. The notifications are still there.

There are a number of other threads from people reporting the same problem - it looks like there is a problem at Apple's end whih they need to fix.
Some posts are suggesting that you if you go into the Purchased tab in the App Store app you might be able to update the apps from there, though you will need to scroll through the list to find those with updates and individually update them.

Duplicate iPhone push notifications for some apps

does anyone know how to fix the problem of getting the same iphone push notification from some (could be all) apps twice?
i've tried reinstalling the applications but no luck with that so i've been searching for solutions online. i am guessing it could have something to do with the server.
someone posted what looks like a similar problem here (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2161717) but it was archived so i could not contribute there.

The problem likely resides with the server (either the application-specific servers run by the developer, or Apple's push notification servers, probably the former).

Is it possible to get email notifications if ONE column in "View Responses" has been updated? (as opposed to initial submission notifications)

We are using it to track designs and one column changes "status". If that one column is changed can we setup notifications for that?
Currently, we are only getting email notifications when a form is initially submitted.

You can fetch data from multiple lists in ListViewWebpart, this can be possible through Content Query web part or Custom Web Part using visual studio but in that case you can not get the standard SharePoint funcationality for list (which is available in
ListViewWebparts).
No OOB filter available for multi-choice column, you also have to go with custom solution to achieve this.

How to use Ajax Get Multiple Values in Tabular form?

I am trying to use AJAX to get multiple values in tabular form by using Denes Kubicek's example in the following link -

I have created the example(Ajax Get Multiple Values, application 54522) on Oracle site -

However, I want to use system generate tabular form to finish this example, and was not able to populate the data correctly.
Page 2 (method 2) is the one that I am having trouble to populate the column values. When I checked application item values in Session, and the values seems to be populated correctly.
This is what I have done on this page:

The XML that was returned by your XML process would be something like

When you don't use apex_item to create your tabular form a item in the table will look like
