Can there be any external hard disks - if so How is/are it/they formatted ? Must be Mac OS Extended (hfs) if used for Video.
UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - works for most but not for VIDEO.
What this means in Your situation is above me.
• free space on internal boot hard disk? How much ?
Pictures
• in what format ? .jpg, .bmp, .tif, else ?
Audio
• from where/what format ? iTunes, .avi, .mp3, .aiff, else ?
Trash the pref file:
The "com.apple.iMovie.plist" file

I fixed the problem.. but it was very, very strange. I had a very long section for credits and set the line spacing to 1.0.. for some reason this caused it. I removed it, and it worked fine. I put it back, and I couldn't preview or play the video.
I don't know why that could cause that big of a problem, but it did..

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? I get the error code -2146827284 when trying to run an Ecxel macro from LabVIEW.

I am trying to insert data in an Excel workbook and then run a macro which I recorded in Excel to produce a plot.
This worked great on a laptop running W2K + LV7 and Office 2000.
I am now trying to do the same thing on a WinXP + LV7 + Excel 2002 and I get this error.
The complete message is:
"Error -2146827284 occurred at Exception occured in Microsoft Excel, Programmatic access to Visual Basic Project is not trusted
. Help Path is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033\xlmain10.chm and context 0 in Excel Import Module.vi->LV report test1.vi
This error code is undefined. No one has provided a description for this code, or you might have wired a number that is not an
error code to the error code input."
Can anyone shed some light on this. Running a macro is the obvious and easy way to get this work done.

I get an error code -8003 when I try to empty the trash

I was about to run TechToolPro to defrag etc my external HD when I decided to reduce the size of the Time Machine file by removing the earliest two or three backups which date back to a year ago or so. I realize the error of my ways now but my thinking was to reduce the time it took to defrag etc.
I had put the files in my trash on the MBP 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 Gb ram running 10.6.8 which at that time had about 11gib of HD space left. This action brought it down to 3.8 Gb left on the HD.

Now when I try to empty the HD I get an error code -8003 and the HD space remaining has reduced to about .5 Gb.
What are my options?
I also have a Super Duper backup.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Why am I getting http error code 413 when I try to upload a photo?

I am trying to upload a picture from my computer to the www.NWF.org web site. I have done this 19 times before, but suddenly I'm getting "http error code: 413" and my picture won't upload. I've tried closing Firefox, updating all my plug-ins, and rebooting the computer, none of which has helped. When I Google this error, I don't understand what I'm reading.

Thank You Eric, I contacted Cisco, they have nothing for Maverick OS.. too new for them.. It still works fine but I can't access my router settings If needed if I needed to view my settings, to change a password or add more guest access. Right now if I had to do something, They said they would have to make the changes locally through their website and there would be a fee because I'm out of warranty.. Since I'm able to still connect since upgrading to Maverick, I assumed Apple included a patch or something in the Maverick upgrade..

I suspect you've been trying to remove some of your Time Machine back ups.   Not a good idea without doing the necessary research first. Read about ways to solve Trash problems.
