I get the following message from Java ... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520012 ", etc. and have to click OK twice to get past it.
When trying to get to any site that uses Java Script the following pops up . . .

I've deleted all old updates as instructed and running the most recent version.
If you're having this issue open Firefox, go to Tools on the Firefox tabs at the top of your browser window, and click on Add-ons. This will take you to your Add-ons page. Click on Extensions on the right side of the screen and scroll down to the Skype extension add-on. Click on "Disable" to disable this extension. Once this extension is disabled your problem should be fixed. In my case it repaired the problem.

When I double click on the Firefox icon, a box pops up heading Javascript Application and inside is the error message as detailed above. The box offers only one option "OK" and once I click on that the program works well. I access emails online and when I click on the respons button or to send a new email, the same error message pops up.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Trash the preference files while application is NOT Running.
Easiest way to find out if this is the problem is by:
• Create a new User-Account
• Log out of Your old one and into this
• Re-try iMovie
If it now works OK - then 99.9% the problem is iMovie pref. file that needs to be trashed.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). On my registered iTunes computer, the following message appears every time one plugs in a device and refuses to load said device to be synced: "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". Each device has been registered onto this account and this computer, and all have worked finely in the past. I am so confused as to why now seemingly without reason, none of our apple devices (one iPod, two iPhones) are allowed to have music and other material downloaded onto them. Also, as a side note, they still are charged by plugging them into the computer, however they do not even show up on the left-hand sidebar in iTunes.

Go under tools scroll down click on "options" click manage add-ons, near the top in that list will be Browser Defender toolbar, click on it then click "disable" and near the top will be a button to click to reboot--click that one.. Done.

Some how I solved my problem by opening a user account and downloading Firefox 4.0 beta and installing it, I did try it, worked fine, so I did close the user account and did go back to my own account(switched user), the main page that I had problem with Firefox which would not open, I dabble click on Firefox it start working again!!
