I get the imessage activation code but nothing happens

im trying to activate imessage, i get the status as "waiting for activation", after an hour or so i got sms from a number starts with 4477 with some programming text and that's that, nothing happened and the status still shows "waiting for activation"
note: i can send imessages but im not getting any, my friends tried several times from several accounts and still the same.
any suggestions please.

That SMS shows that you must not be connecting with the iMessage servers in the UK. Where are you located? Are you using a supported carrier for the iPhone? Normally, supported carriers can send this SMS with no problem, or no cost, but you need to have a texting plan. Just installed photoshop element 13, opened it once then after that try to open again, ask me to register my product and since after that i keep getting the sign in page but nothing happen

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

Turns out my son had a mail filter on and had redirected the email to another folder, hence decline all knowledge of it! I got the invoice as one transaction the following morning. All OK.
Suggest you check to ensure the email address is valid and being sent to the right folder. Also check your invoice the following day as it will confirm the address you sent the gift to.

Try to backup and restore you device in itunes...restoring the device is like removing the iOS software off the device and re-add in a newer software, after you have restore you device, MAKE SURE YOU SET UP YOUR DEVICE LIKE A NEW DEVICE, DONT NOT RESTORE FROM BACKUP!!... give the device a chance to use the newer software and see if the issue still persisting, if the issue still on going then its would be a hardware issue.
Call Apple Care and see if your device is still under warranty to get it replace

Generally, when going out of the country and using a foreign SIM, carrier files can be changed. Go to Settings>General>About>and look at Carrier? What does it say? You may have to perform a restore. You can try a restore from a backup, that would reinstall the iOS, and would provide the latest AT&T carrier file as well. See if this will fix the problem.

What is the error number in the error message? To reset the phone you must press and HOLD both buttons for at least 10 seconds, and longer until an Apple logo appears.

After resetting your password have you tried logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logging back in to see if that 'refreshes' the account on it and if it then works ?

completely switch off your ipad with pressing the top power button really long and then swipe the red swiper at the top. Then turn your ipad back on, skip the icloud login screen and you should be good! That's what i did so should work for you too

I am trying to install 10.4 fresh onto a brand new hard drive, it is in my old macbook. When I start up the computer I hold down "C" just like all the guides tell me to and I get a flashing folder. The disc is spinning but nothing happens.

I have also held doen the "control" key and nothing happens. The reason I am replacing the hard drive is because the previous hard drive gave me the same flashing folder and wouldn't open up to disc utility when I put in the tiger install disc. I am more of a windows guy and don't know much about mac's.

I have done both. When I hold down the "C" key it pauses for a few seconds while the cd spins and then the flashing folder icon appears.
Could be you have the wrong cd/dvd. The mac will only boot a supported cd/dvd for your machine. The flashing question mark indicdates your machine could not find a valid os.
When I hold down the "option" key for the startup manager the cursor comes up and moves but the actually manager doesn't come up no matter how long I leave the laptop on.
Not sure. Could be your machine does not support the startup manager. You would think the machine would ignore the key.
Where did you get the dvd? What is the number on the DVD?
What machine do you have anyway?
