Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

  • What this error message means.

    Hi, We have Only Web application server installed on one server. We are not facing any issue but I can see this error message in the logging folder. Not sure if this error points to any incoming problem.
    Does anyone know what is this? we are on BOXI R2 on Web server.

    we see that stuff all the time. unless you are having an issue it shouldn't be a problem. For accurate logging we would need to enable tracing, those asserts seem like they can be thrown for just about anything, including informational.

  • See this error in report REP-1401: cf_1formula: Fatal PL/SQL errir occurred

    hi mater
    sir i use oracel reprot 6i
    i try to use formula for calculation see
    function avggFormula return Number is begin
    :cp_1 := (:bugamt-nvl(:totexp,0)/:bugamt)*100 ;
    return(:cp_1);
    end;
    this formula complie rightly no error
    but when i run my report
    that give me this error
    REP-1401: 'cf_1formula': Fatal PL/SQL errir occurred.
    ORA-01476: divisor is equal to zero
    please give me idea how i solve my this error
    thank;
    aamir

    Hi Aamir,
    The problem is that divisor by 0 (zero) is not possible.
    So you need to make sure that in your calculation there's no division by zero.
    In your case :bugamt is equal to zero then you will get this error.
    So just make sure that :bugamt is not equal to zero.
    You can do this as follows:
    function avggFormula return Number is begin
    IF :bugamt != 0 THEN
    :cp_1 := (:bugamt-nvl(:totexp,0)/:bugamt)*100 ;
    END IF;
    return(:cp_1);
    end;

  • I received this error today "unable to communicate with locator service to retrieve available files"

    We use CSM to push out IPS updates and we recieved this error when we tried to manually retrieve the IPS update from Cisco.com. I wonder if the CCO server is having issues again because this happened last month when it rejected requests for updates. We did recieve the same error "Unable to communicate with locator service to retrieve files." at that time as well.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    This error is usually due to problems with the CCO server.  Are you able to ping www.cisco.com from the CSM server?  What ip address does ww.cisco.com resolve to?  The problem could be a transient issue so do you get the same error if you try the IPS update again?

    Are you listing the billing address for the card correctly? The address in the iTunes/MAS account must match the address on your bill exactly.

  • When I try to download an ebook to ADE I get this message:  Error getting license,

    When I try to download an ebook to ADE I get this message:  Error getting license.  License communication problem:  E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12

    ADE may have your authorizations confused.
    Try entering ctrl-shift-D (cmd-shift-D on Mac) to ADE, restarting, and then reauthorizing with your AdobeID.
    Then try again to download the book.

  • I keep getting the following message after I download a book and try to open the book from my downloads (in finder) Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY. It gives me no other information and no options other than to

    I don't really know what to do. I download a book from my library and it then goes to my download folder in finder (I have a macbook pro). When I double click on the downloaded book to open, digital editions comes up and then I get the following message
    Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

    The only option I have at that point is to close the window. My computer is registered/authorized and I have tried everything I can think of but can't get the books to download into adobe digital editions.

    Unable to download Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY.  Cannot open ebooks on my Adobe DE.  How do I fix this?

    I had the exact same problem & this worked for me. All I needed was the first step. Good luck!!!! (copied from another thread):
    "Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
    Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help, and indeed installation can even trigger this state.
    Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
    A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
    Another is  "E_AUTH_NOT_READY"
    This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
    Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.
    In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people.  Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. If you are using 10.7, see Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 Lion. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1265248?tstart=0

  • How do I fix the "Error getting License" message?

    I have just installed ADE on a new macbook and authorised with same details I was using on my PC (which works fine). When I try and download a book from Kobo on the Mac, it comes up with the message: "Error getting license. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY"
    I am new to Macs so not sure if this is a Mac-related issue but I have no idea how to fix. Any ideas?

    If due to some reason, you are unable to deauthorize ADE, follow the below steps:
    Mac:
    Ok, try the following way to access activation.dat:
    1. Go-> Go to folder.
    Go to folder dialog will appear.
    2. Type   ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions
    drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
    ADE will be deauthorized now.
    Now Authorize ADE again.
