I give up..... FDS 2.0.1 installer/patch file.

Arg, i can't get hold of our Corporate Account holder right
now, and i need to get a specific patch of FDS.
I've called in through the standard technical support line at
1800-642-3623, but they told me that the download was no longer
available, and that i should upgrade to Flex 3? Are they serious? i
gave them a corporate Flex Builder 2 License Key! Yeah, when
someone approves a few million dollars to upgrade all of our
applications to Flex 3, we might consider it.
Oh, the frustration.
Please can someone tell me where i can find the Flex FDS
2.0.1 install/zip file. I already have the FDS 2.0 installer, and i
have the Flex Builder 2.0.1 installer too, but i believe there is a
2.0.1 FDS patch/zip file that i am missing.
The documentation here references it, but the FDS 2.0.1
installer is not available.

I tried FTP'ing to the macromedia FTP server looking for
older versions, but i could not login, and the adobe FTP server
does not have it.
If anyone has a link to archived version of the software,

"Error opening installation log file" when installing Photoshop Elements 10

I bought Photoshop Elements 10 , Premiere Elements 10 .... I got the Premiere to download no problem but i can't get the photoshop to download. This is the msg that I am getting when I try to dl it "Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exsists and is writable". Not sure why I can download one and not the other since they are both on the same disc. Plus in the program that I purchased I has 5 DVD's. Any suggestions??

Windows Installer error box re: valid Windows Installer patch package

I have Windows XP with Internet Explorer and every time I try and download Adobe Reader I get an error box stating: "this patch could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package."
I was told by tech support to install Mozilla with firefox and try again...which I did with the same results. What can I do??

Oracle Universal Installer response files and platform independency

Hi all,
The Oracle Universal Installer is a platform-independent system, to what extent are Oracle Universal Installer response files platform-independent? For sure it's not completely platform-independent, because path definitions aren't portable - Windows versus Linux for example. My hope is that all possible variables within response files are exactly the same as on different platforms. Also the possible values for the variables should be portable, except for the path definitions, of course.
Can anyone confirm that my thoughts are true?

This problem frequently occurs because of the wrong DISPLAY settings. Please perform the steps on a X-term terminal screen;
1) under root user
2) xhost +
3) su - ora<sid>
4) echo $DISPLAY
5) setenv DISPLAY <client ip>:(result of echo $DISPLAY) (for example setenv DISPLAY 192.168.1.100:0.0)
6) xclock (test X-Client)
If it works then you will be able to run "./runInstaller", for example
cd /oracle/stage/102_64/database/Disk1/SAP
./RUNINSTALLER

Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your desktop then click Get Info.

How can I copy installation/setup files of an App downloaded from Mac App Store?

I just purchased and downloaded Xcode on my Macbook Pro and now want to install the same on my MacBook Air and iMac but I don't want download them again and again. Isin't their anyway by which I can copy the installation/setup files of that App and paste it on another Mac and use my iTunes account credentials to verify the App with Apple servers, so that they know it's legit install. And also keep the copy as backup so that, I can install that App again after I format my computer or use it for future use.
I live in a third world country and aren't blessed with high speed and unlimited bandwidth connection.

Installation log file error

I am attempting to reload Photoshop Elements 8 on a Dell Precision Workstation under Windows 7 64-bit Professional on a new hard drive. Immediately after I confirm English as the language, the following error pops up:
Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable.
I have attempted installation from the DVD and from a location on the hard drive, with the same result.
If I knew the location the installer is trying to use for the log file I could verify the existence and properties of that location.
