I go to a website that has drop down boxes to select videos they do not work in Firefox but do in IE

I am working in a site called Niche Proffit Classrooms. They require me to use Firefox. I have installed Firefox 11.2. Their drop down boxes to choose a video to watch work fine in IE but not in Firefox when using my desktop. They only drop down to expose 1 video out of 8. If using my laptop, they work in Firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 11.2 on my desktop but it still does not work.

How do I turn-off that annoying drop-down box with the gold key that asks me if I want Firefox to save the password?

You know what drop-down box I'm talking about. When I sign-in to an existing account, that box drops down, covering links I want to click on, asking me AGAIN if I want to save the password for 'this' [whatever site I'm on] site. NO, I DON'T! If I wanted to save the darn password, I would have clicked 'yes' about 1,000 sign-ins ago! Stop already with the asking me.! This 'gold key' feature just doesn't get it. It is a huge nusiance. Why isn't there a box to click that says "DON'T ASK ME AGAIN"?

Recordings that include drop-down boxes

I am recording in the “Training Simulation” mode.
The screen I’m recording includes drop-down boxes. After
publishing the project, the project does not allow the user to
scroll though the drop-down list. It will automatically fill in the
correct answer choice by pressing Enter.
I need the user to be able to scroll though the list of
drop-down options. Any suggestions?

Captivate doesn't offer anything like that. You would need
some sort of a custom Flash widget that might allow it.
You should probably put this suggestion as a feature request

All drop downs on forms or in history do not work -

since update - all drop downs do not work - on navigation bar - internet forms that have questions that require an election from a drop down field - and the auto type feature. The boxes act like they want to open but are closed as soon as they appear. This is a major problem as most applications have drop down boxes for questions or security questions.
I thought it was pop-up blocker but it wasn't- no info found in Troubleshooting.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Linking TextFields to Drop Down Boxes and selections back to subforms

I suppose I have two separate questions here.
#1 - I would like to have a drop down box auto populate based on a text field in a repeating sub-form.
For instance, I have a "Loan Info Subform" with the loan number text field on it that can be repeated on the same form and I have a "collateral subform" where I would like to have the choice of which loan number within the form the collateral belongs to.
Is this possible?
And if so, question #2
I have a "FairMarket Value of Collateral" decimal field on the Collateral Subform that I would like to autopopulate back into the proper Loan Info Subform, based upon the choice in the drop down list.

Linking drop down boxes to selected layers

Hi all,
Acrobat noob here.
I've created a map with a legend. Exported it to pdf and then linked selectable buttons in the legend to the layers on the map so when I click on secondary schools in the legend all the secondary schools on the map show as points.
Now what I want to do with those points is either if I hover or click on the point that information about the secondary school shows, I also want to do that with every layer that I have on the map. I have other layers such as Primary Schools and Libraries etc that also show as points on the map. I know I can do this, the issue with this is that if there are points close together that it will be impossible for the user to select the one they want. So I was hoping that there's some script out there to run so that when one layer is selected that only the drop down menus linked to that layer show.
Any ideas?

In SharePint, it provides navigation feature which is similar to yours. Have you tried to use it? If not, I suggest you use navigation feature.

Hi,
we are using Crystal Reports 10 to design crystal reports. The web development environment is Visual Studio 2005. When I run the website that has the crystal reports on my localhost I am not getting any errors. I am using Non-Embedded Crystal reports. However when I deploy the website on the server I am getting "cannot load file or assembly ....". I am thinking this is because of the version issues. When I looked at the version of dlls that are used in the development enviroment they are 10.2.3600. I am not able to find these dlls on the server. I cannot even copy them from the development machine since they are in Global Assembly Cache. The dlls with version 10.2.3600 might have come from the visual studio 2005 installation. But how I can get these dlls on the server so that the crystal reports work fine. Please let me know.

Drop-Down Boxes showing blank

I'm recording a software demonstration that includes
drop-down boxes, which I've done for years with Captivate, but I'm
encountering a strange issue I've never seen before. When I look at
the slide itself, everything looks fine, but when I preview the
demonstration, the drop down box appears blank (a white box) for a
second before he box appears. There is no background or image
anywhere in the system, that I can see, of the screen with a white
box where the drop-down box should go.
When I go to preview only that slide (F3), the blank drop
down box appears in the last 1/2 second of the slide, yet it is no
where in the library of graphics. What is going on here?
I've been able to "fix" the issue by adding the bitmap of the
background over the top of the last 1/2 second of the slide, but I
really don't want to have to do that for every demonstration I do
in the future that includes a drop-down box. Does anyone know if
there's a recording setting that might be doing this?

Thanks for the advice - I usually try and record more slides
that I need since its easy enough to delete the extras. I've never
encountered this problem before, though. If anything, I'm used to
it recording the white screen that appears in a transition from one
screen to another and I take precautions for that. I've never had a
white box appear prior to a menu opening, though, or had a slide
show "movement" in the background graphic itself. It wouldn't
matter how slow I recorded it - it would still record the last
fraction of a second. It did get the completely rendered image, it
just added a little "interlude" on its own.
I had no idea that captivate recorded layers on the graphics.
When looking at the slide, the white box only appears when I drag
the playhead across the slide, and then only for the last fraction
of the second. Is it possible to edit these in any way? Maybe
"crop" the end of the end that shows the white box?

Preset an drop down box on a specific option before display

Hello Experts,
I set an dropdown box with a fixed list of options out of a variable (Forecast 1, 2, 3 and so on). It works fine. However, right now Forecast 3 is actual. So when opening the template the drop down box is supposed to be preselected on "Forecast 3".
I solved the problem by sorting the options, so that 3 comes first and then I set the "action before first display" in the template's properties (set variables values on Forecast 3). It's works but the Users dont like the fact that the drop down box is sorted wrong. Do you guys maybe have a better solution for me?

thanx for you reply. I have thought about this, too. But I wanted to set the default entry only in my template and not for all cause my colleges might not want it this way. Does this mean, it is not possible to set such things in the template at all?
