I google home page starts correctly then jumps to the bottom of the page after a few seconds after startup.

When i start my computer with the i google home page it loads correctly, then after about 4 secs, it jumps down to the bottom of the page.

  • I start scrolling a little bit and then the page uncontrollable scrolls down to the bottom of the page slowly. During which time firefix is unresponsive.

    I will scroll down the page with either the keyboard, mouse or by click on the onscreen scroll bar and it will start uncontrolably scrolling to the bottom of the page. It also crashes a lot.

    The page numbering goes with the section which derives from the template you used to create the page.
    For example you would have a Preface section with certain +master objects+ that numbers with roman numerals.
    Then you would have the body of the book following which restarts the count from 1 and uses Arabic numbers. This again would have its own +master objects+.
    You need to insert the page numbers you want in the section's +master objects+ . Do this by going to +Menu > Format > Advanced > Make master objects editable+ .
    The +master objects+ are what repeats on each page. What I think you have done is insert the page number only on the page you are looking at, which is why it has only inserted once.
    I presume you will be inserting your page numbers in the Header or Footer which you will be able to see if you go to +Menu > View > Show Layout+ .
    To control how the pages are numbered and with which number they start go to +Toolbar > Inspector (the blue icon with the i in it) > Layout (2nd tab) > Section+ and set what you want there.

  • Mail app is blank. I can not see any thing but a blank page with blue lined format. It does not shut down either. It just blinks out after a few seconds and the icon is there alone on my home screen then everything goes black and my home screen comes

    MY Mail app does not respond in anyway to anything. The icon shows I have over 300 emails but I have no access to them. When I tap on the Mail icon a blank white page comes up with the blue format lines. No emails, no inbox, nothing, not a single letter of the alphabet is there. Within a few seconds it blinks out and I see the icon and my home screen. Soon it just blinks out to black. I am left with the icon at the bottom center of the screen. I have no way to shut it down. I have no access to the emails (300) in my inbox. All that is happening is my memory is getting filled up with emails. I would appreciate any solution to this problem barring deleting my email set up in settings.

    If I'm understanding your situation, you've got an iPad running iOS 6.1.3 and the Mail app is not working.  I understand you don't want to remove and re-add your email account.  
    The first thing I would suggest is to make sure your iPad is backed up to iCloud or iTunes.
    Do you have an iMAP or a POP email account?  When you go online to your email service provider's website, are you able to access the 300 emails in your inbox?
    Since the Mail app is part of your iOS operating system, upgrading that software to the latest version, which is 8.1.3 may resolve this issue.

    If you are getting blank screen after launching Creative Cloud Desktop app then deleting opm.db should help. Please delete all the contents from this location.

    If you are getting Error 206 while installing then try to change the connection from LAN to Wifi and vice cersa. You can also try disabling your software firewall if any.

  • My mail app quits a few seconds after launching. I get a blank screen and then it goes back to the starter screen

    THe mail app on my ipad 2 quits right after launching. This happened as I was forwarding an email with a long attachment. Now I get a blank screen with just the icons, no mail mailboxes etc. after a few seconds that blank screen disappears and we go back to the starter screen. I tried rebooting, relaunching but no luck so far. Can somebody help me? Thanks

    Have you tried removing the email account from the app through settings?  I would try removing it, rebooting, opening the email app to see if it still crashes,  & then adding it back your email account. 
    If you're leary about causing more issues while you're not home, you could always try using a third party mail app (there are many), accessing your email through it...not a fix for your problem but a way to deal with the situation until you can get it worked out.
    Resetting all settings on the iPad (not deleting content) is a good way to clear many errors as it can remove leftover cache files & files that have become corrupt.

  • How do I get my animation to start at the bottom of the page?

    I have an edge animation that looks like it starts at the bottom of the page when I view in Edge but on my HTML there is a gap between the start of the animation and the bottom of the page. They style specifies margin of 0px but there is still a gap.

    The project files are correct, But still not clear on the start margin problem that you are facing.
    I changed the bg color of stage to red and seems like things look correct ( screenshot. ).
    Also at frame ( 00:04.500 ), the keyframe has a value of 296px, would making it 300px help ?

    Open Contacts and click Preferences on the menu named Contacts. On the General tab of the Preferences window, select Show First Name: Before Last Name and then print. You can change that Preference back to the other way after printing if desired.

  • Pages 2, 3, 4, etc. start at the bottom of the screen when viewing online

    On my website (which consists of pictures), if you're at the end of page one and click on page 2, you automatically start at the bottom of the next page. So, if you have two pages and the second page doesn't have many pictures on it, when you go to the next page, you're in blank space unless you scroll up to the top. Which means a lot of people viewing the website will think there aren't any more pictures left or will sit there waiting for them to download. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    This is definitely not normal behavior!
    Where are you publishing to - MobileMe or another server?
    Try publishing your site to a folder on the desktop and double click the index.html file to launch your site directly in Safari from your hard drive and check to see if the pages are loading the same as they do on the internet.
    If the problem is still there you are doing something wrong in iWeb. If they are OK then the problem is a publishing one.

    The error in the eventlog is
     “could not be started because the App-V Subsystem 'Virtual Filesystem' could not be initialized. {error: 0x6740090A-0x20003}”

    Trying to move Acrobat 7.0 Standard (Version 7.0.9) to a new computer.  found the website to download a new copy of the application.  Downloaded and installed.  When trying to start the application an error message immediately pops up - "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000fd). Click OK to close the application."
    How can this be resolved?
