I got a 15 dollar iTunes gift card and it got subtacted to 5 bucks when I used it on iTunes! What do I do to get the 10 dollars back?
Okay, so today I got a 15 dollar iTunes gift card. I used it on iTunes and it only put me up to $4.96. I had a prepaid credit card on my account at the time that iTunes was thinking the security code was invalid, that is why I got the iTunes card. What do I do in order to get the ten bucks back? I checked my recent purchases and it says I have not purchased anything in 3 days. I have contacted Apple Support and I will post what they say. Untill then, does anyone have any idea what I can do to get my money back? I retried entering my gift card but it is, as it should be, already been used.
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of doing so include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

ThanksThere is no way to remotely track any device that is turned off, or does not have an internet data connection. In that case, no remote system can possible communicate with the device, nor the device send any information to any remote server. Any device, not merely an iPhone, shares that same limitation. Remote tracking is only possible if the device and the tracking system can talk to eachother.
Apple does not offer any other feature because they are not a law enforcement agency. They are bound by the same privacy laws that keep you from snooping in somebody's house just because you claim they have something of yours.
Of course there are alternate ways to track a powered on and connected cell phone, but Apple has neither the legal nor the moral authority to do such things. Just because something is technically possible does not mean that any big company and just go out and do them.
Since when is it always "someone else's" fault and responsibility to deal with your lost or stolen private property? I don't get this mentality of passing either the blame or the responsibility on to someone else. -

I bought an iTunes gift card to purchase a book in iBook. When I press buy it will ask for my password, once I put that in I it will then ask for my password again. Then it will tell me that PayPal is not supported by my device. In iTunes under my apple id it has the amount of credit I have on my account. Why can't I get what I am trying to buy?
You might want to check the details you have linked to your account by visiting the website (appleid.apple.com) > Manage your Apple ID > Then sign in.
Once your satisfied with the information you have provided / changes you've doon. Try to make that purchase again. If you're being prompted for the billing info thing. Just follow the onscreen prompts. Click done at bottom of the screen to proceed.

Very very likely that tax is applicable and tax is more than $0.01. You need to add a payment method for the tax. If you add a credit card, the girft card balance will be used up first.
