    It may be possible that the sale of the redemption by the third party seller has not yet been registered/recorded in Adobe's system. So as dj says you may need to check this out with the supplier.

    It sounds like you are not able to redeem your iTunes gift card.  I recommend reviewing the following steps when you are getting an alert message stating that the code is "inactive" or "invalid":
    Make sure you've entered the code exactly as it appears on your card. If the code is illegible, try to enter the code as best as you can. Invalid code messages typically mean that the card activation number may have been mistyped. Read your code carefully. The following letters and numbers can look very similar:
    The letter A and the letter H
    The letter B and the number 8
    The letter D and the number 0
    The letter E and the number 3
    The letter G and the number 6
    The letter H and the letter W
    The letter J and the number 1
    The letter M and the letter N

  • Lightroom 5 redemption code in not working.

    I purchased lightroom 5 from best buy. When I was installing it, it kept saying that my redemption code had not been activated. So I went back to best buy, they gave me a whole new lightroom and told me that it should work. It says the same exact thing. It's supposed to be activated once it is scanned at the store, but it failed to do so both times.

    Sorry it took so long to get back. I purchased the software at a store. I finally connected to the proper web address that allowed me to retreive the serial number. Earlier, for some odd reason, I was unable to locate the address needed. Jim, thanks for responding.

  • How do i find the email address that my redemption code is attached to?

    Hello My name is Yakira and I'm a fashion design student. My school sent out emails that had links for students to follow in order to download a free copy of Adobe Suite.  I followed the instructions and Creative Cloud only allows me to use TRIAL versions of the software.
    I just got off Technical Support with my school and they informed me that the email address that is attached to my redemption code is different than the email address I used to download the software in the first place.
    The reason for that is because my school was recently bought by another company and the overall email address that was used with the Adobe account is not the same one that out campus uses now. Instead of telling students to use the older email address a lot of students are confused as to why they cannot access their Adobe Suite
    So I have the Redemption code but I need the email address that the redemption code is linked to so that I can download everything again.

    you need your serial number.  you used your redemption number to redeem your serial number.
    if you don't know your serial number, check the account used to purchase or register your pse 12, Adobe ID

    I am working with the student teacher edition CS6 design standard. After sumbitting the serial number off of the back of the card I bought at my University Computer store, I have received my redemption code through email from adobe. I went to go plug in the exact redemption code that they sent me at the link they provided, to get my serial number in exchange, and it says that the redemption code 'doesn't seem to be active'. I have tried to contact customer service but after spending about 6 hours on the phone yesterday no one was able to fix my problem.  Most everyone I talked to had no idea what a redepmtion code was.  Adobe has by far the worst customer service out of all the large companies that I have delt with.

    If you continue to face difficulties with your redemption code then you may want to consider contacting the reseller for a refund and purchasing from Adobe directly.
